Love the wide screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience using a wide screen monitor. I was a little nervous about how the experience was going to be since I have been using dual monitors for years, BUT glad that I switched. My set is much cleaner and the in-build software to split the screen is great. I can definitely say my productivity is better with a larger wide screen. The build and design of the monitor including the stand looks really modern and sleek. I am currently using the monitor with a Vesa monitor mount, I was able to attach and mount very easily. Not for the bad, and I am nitpicking here. I wish it had more ports. It just 2 hdmi port and no usb-c port. Overall, very satisfied with the monitor and I would definitely recommend.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as an everyday monitor for use and I couldn't be happier. It's able to tilt up and down for different view angles, and Forza Horizon is amazing to see on this monitor! The only odd thing is the two red pixels stuck.

I think I've found THE ONE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I partially work from home and I'm starting school again, so I wanted to have a monitor that could handle all of that. I wasn't disappointed at all! In the office, I'm used to working with two monitors but just this one alone is amazing. The display is large, crystal clear, and awesome. I have a HP laptop and it literally was plug and play. Also, the monitor was easy to put together as well. It is a sleek design that goes well with my modern desk. The white back and white cords were threw me for a loop, but they aren't bad....just unexpected. It's lightweight, even though it is large. It's pretty cool that you can mount it too. I work on the computer all day long, so I have more than enough room for projects, spreadsheets, etc. If you're on the fence, BUY IT!

Amazing Graphics!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG UltraWide 29WP50S-W Monitor has great dynamics. The screen works great for my needs of what I need, and for daily use. The extra screen size allows for multiple windows to display various programs and browsers. Plenty of brightness. and the sound is pretty decent. The graphics are phenomenal, and has high quality functions. This monitor is easy to use and it is the first WideScreen I ever bought, I am a very happy costumer!

Two Screen in One Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in IT, I sit in front of a computer all day long, and traditionally I have been a 3 screen user for at least the past10 years. I've never been a big fan of the ultra-wide monitors, when I've tried them I find so much white space it becomes pointless. I've seen a great use for them in people in finance, working in huge excel spreadsheets, etc, but not the average worker. Well LG has changed my mind on this. Primarily due to the help of LG's OnScreen Control software that is included. This software does an Excellent job of allowing you to configure the screen in how it fits you best, 2 "virtual screens", no problem, 3? you got it. Now Windows 10/11 also has some of the capabilities built in and in other Microsoft software, but it doesn't do it quiet as gracefully as LG's software, also LG's software will only apply to its own screen, which is exactly what I want, as I still use other monitors as well. I do generally find text to be a bit crisper on this screen than my other primary monitor, and colors are certainly richer. The only oddity I experience is that sometimes it almost seems convex, because it is sitting next to a curved monitor. Part of me wishes there was a bit of a curve to this monitor. Overall adding this monitor has been huge, I've essentially "retired" the laptop screen to almost never being used, and now just use 2 monitors, with this LG being the main screen.

PERFECT FIT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a digital artist as well as music producer. I already take advantage of an LG widescreen on the digital art side of the studio and this fit perfectly into the recording side of the studio. The wide aspect ration allows for viewing the entire (in most cases) onscreen mixer (before I would have to scroll left and right) and the crisp resolution makes seeing levels and making adjustments a breeze :) Setup was very straight forward and Iwas up and running in literally minutes. Even with my dual monitor setup I've experienced zero issues using this monitor and find my overall experience to be rather pleasant!

Great image and resolution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is great for my needs. I connect my laptop to it and use as a second screen. I like the width and the sharpness. I don't like that you can not adjust the height. Otherwise is perfect!

Multitasking powerhouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for an ultrawide monitor as I usually have multiple programs and tabs open. The LG 34WP50S-W is perfect for that! I really like the white/silver. The IPS screen is beautiful, you can look at it from multiple angles and it doesn't look washed out. Backlight bleed is not as noticeable as other monitors I've tried. Multitasking is a breeze with this monitor. There is plenty of screen space to have multiple programs open. Gaming is also great with all the expanded screen, although I wouldn't recommend it for competitive gaming as it is only 60hz refresh rate. Overall, this is a fantastic monitor for the price. I would say this is an entry level monitor as the quality of the material isn't top of the line, but I'd say it's on par with the price. Great for multitasking but I would look elsewhere for a gaming monitor.

Very Nice looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I'm disappointed the monitor is flat and not curved, I do like the looks of it. The white back, with silver stand and black frame looked a lot better than I thought it would look. From the factory, the color calibration was way off and I had to use my color calibration tool to get the colors to look somewhat right, but I've gotten used to doing that with low to mid-range monitors. Ultrawide monitors have always been a favorite of mine for doing work that can take advantage of the wide screen. Although I'll never use it on this monitor, it's nice to see that it comes with AMD freesync technology built in. It doesn't come with speakers built-in, but since I use external speakers anyways, it's not really a big deal for me, though if i was trying to go for a minimalist desk look, the lack of a speaker would be disappointing. For the price paid, it's a decent monitor. The color reproduction could use a lot of work, or at least color calibrated from the factory would've been nice. I don't see myself using this for projects that require more precise color reproductions, like video post-processing work. It will just be used for writing code where precise color isn't a necessity.
