I like that it’s not super shiny but does contain small specs of glitter. You could also give them a little stain finish as well if you want more of an antique look! Over all it’s beautiful and i definitely would purchase for my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The floor is a pretty standard composite laminate flooring. Boards are 7/16" thick with a thin pad attached on the bottom. Boards are very firm (at least the smaller sample sizes). Snap together lock is manageable but will ding and bend easily if you don't get on the first or second try. Color of the face is a nice natural look and has a discreet texture but enough to give a real wood feeling. The biggest shock came at the scraping and sliding furniture on it. Some very thin lines were visible but if you don't know it is there or looking a few inches away they seem to self heal and are not noticeable. After scratching with a blade, the lines are barely visible and running a finger across you cannot feel the scratches. Would expect it to hold up in a high traffic area.

Our basement is a ongoing home improvement project and I am not interested in using Spencer Laminate Flooring on the basement floors as the upstairs flooring is complete. Each panel is sturdy, even and of a high end material.

Of course, with just a sample, it’s hard to know if it would squeak when walked on or how it would stand up to everyday life. But to put it through some real testing, I gave it to my preschooler. He used it for a platform to crash monster trucks and dragged it across the floor vent. It came out perfectly fine!

He was impressed with the engineered cut design that makes laying the floor easy and secure with its locking groove edges. Then he noticed the pre-attached foam backing and he went nuts over that because it makes life so much easier. This warm lightly grooved laminate is beautiful and worth the extra cost. My husband agrees investing in good floors and premium paint pays dividends.

I received a sample piece in exchange for my honest review, so I’m not able to comment on how well it installs or if the seams fit together nicely. The sample piece of flooring is also not large enough to stand on, so I’m not sure how it feels under my feet. It seems like it would be a nice floor, but hard to say for sure without it installed in a room. I do really like the design and color of the piece I received.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sample is super small to even to try to envision in a space, also with the way the flooring is there is no bend so if your floor isn’t level it’ll buckle. I’m glad I got this sample because we were looking for flooring to add to our basement and I will not be going with the company ever!

The shade Fitzgerald was lovely and would make any decor you have. On the bottom of the tile there is a nice padded area. The only thing I was surprised about is that it’s not as smooth as I would have expected.
