I bought 4 of these tables from our local Costco this month and not one of them lays flat when opened. I was pretty sure it must have been just me missing something in the instructions...which is simply the obvious unfold the tables. Each is at enough of an angle that if I wanted to put a display stand right in the center it would be unbalanced. Very very disappointed as I thought this was going to be a fantastic solution to my table-less problem. When I went back to the store to inquire as to whether or not I was missing something in the unfolding, the customer service agent found the same problem with the table she unfolded.

This table was bought 10 years ago and it went everywhere with me from beach parties to camping and home. My sister has it now for her house is bigger but I can still use it. Sturdy, dependable and versatile, can be used for BBQ'S, parties, arts and crafts, layouts, computers, etc. Best investment ever. I have the chairs to.

We've used this Lifetime table for many things: scouts, puzzles, craft projects. But we use it most when we have our whole family over for dinner. It's the "kids table" and they love sitting together! Sturdy, easily set up and stored. Terrific table!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good tables, we have 6 of them and use them all the time. My only complaint is that they are hard to clean. They seem to hold the dirt no matter what you use on them. So they are always covered but are very sturdy and long lasting. We literally use them every week for events at our home, school and for banquets and they have held up very well!

I purchased four of the six-foot-folding types over three years ago for my daughter's wedding reception. One word: Incredible! They were more than ample to support the wedding presents and catered food. A couple folks decided to use one as a bench as the evening progressed. No problem. It easily supported the weight. We have over 100 of these tables in 6 foot, 8 foot and 5foot rounds. In all our years I have had two problems. One was when a heavy teen was playing on top and bent center bar (our fault), and the other is the rounds occasionally lose the snap in plastic that holds the legs tight to top. (A 30 second fix) We use these tables often and hard and yet hold up. The cheaper models are fine if used for nothing more than writing or sitting against, but if you are planning on putting quantities of weight on them then these are the right choice.

I set the table up in my basement. The first thing I noticed is the horrible smell coming from the molded cheap toxic Chinese plastic. I haven't been able to get the smelly fumes to dissipate. Should I sue your company or the Chinese manufacturer? Beware!

My parents got me this table for Christmas over 5 years ago. We have used it for everything - camping, birthday parties, crafting, booths at local fairs, pretty much for anything. It has been great. glad I have it. After the years of use the metal on the back is separating from the plastic on the table which is kind of a bummer but it is still usable.

This table is perfect for the children, when you have a party for children or activities in a camp or part of a summer activities. The weight makes it easy to handle and transport in any regular minivan, easy to handle even for children. The size is what makes it very useful, we have used as a homework table, or has a improvised desk.

We added a Lifetime Products 6 foot folding table to our scout troop camping trailer and have put it to the test. From the Yellowstone wilderness to local state parks, our scouts have used (and abused) this great table. It has been overloaded with heavy gear, dropped from the trailer, left up in all types of weather, cooked on, slept under, climbed over and used as a bench. The table is still sturdy and strong. It is easy cleaned and still sets up and folds up like new. I highly recommend this table. With a name like Lifetime, you know it will last.
