They have a good taste but you have to warm them in the microwave to soften them up because they are so dry. They do not have a best by date only a time of day on them. So, not sure if they were old or not.

i have bought these over 30 years the product is good except when a seller ships out dated stiff rolls this is what this seller did.I am requested refund .What is the matter with this seller.Svenhardts breakfast rolls are great but not when they are month old

We love these pastries! But I was a bit concerned because all the packages with a January freshness date had some condensation inside - are they stored refrigerated or frozen? The other packages were dated 12/24 and I wasn’t using them till 12/25, so I bought the January ones and they were fine.

These are a good buy if you're trying to satisfy a sweet craving or give your family members a treat on a budget. They are small but that's okay. Except, they run a bit dry in the texture. I seem to remember when they were a bit larger and moister. I've purchased these twice in the last few months to add to our snack container on the counter for any of our family visiting. I'm going to take a break on purchasing anymore, due to the dryness. One small thought they're calorically high. Decent price for the amount provided in the box.

Love these pastries. I used to have them as a child and wow, now Sam's carries them. Hopefully, permanently keeps this in stock.

Still the best Danish money can buy, problem is the store closest to me never stocks it and Sams makes me drive across town to get it. All that space in the warehouses and they wont stock everything.
