Good quality sturdy shelf at great price. Shelves can be attached to one another to make larger and more sturdy. Helped organized my garage. I should've bought these sooner.

The shelf is great and easy to assemble. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I thought the 27 gallon containers would fit on it and they do not.

Follow instructions and it goes together easy. As it comes together the unit becomes very strong and stable. I especially like how deep the shelves are.

We got these to replace 25 year old metal shelves that were rusting out in our basement with water issues. They go together pretty easily and seem very sturdy. We like them well enough that we got 4 more.

I bought this item approximately 2 months ago in my local Sam's Club after it had been out of stock for some time. I used the shelving to store surplus food items that I would find on sale at my Sam's Club and other places since food prices have become so burdensome. Today, while sitting in my living room, I heard a mighty crash in my basement, and went downstairs to find the shelving unit had failed, which several of the uprights collapsing, sending food items across my basement and damaging several items, ruining a rug, and knocking my washing machine about a food from where it had been positioned. The entire shelving unit may have had 200 to 250 pounds of food on it, with the heaviest items being on the bottom two shelves. No individual shelf came close to meeting the identified max weight per shelf. Either I received a defective version, or this item generally is unable to hold the claimed weight. In either event, I am incredibly disappointed. Now, after cleaning up broken glass, pickle juice, and protein shakes all over the floor, I have to throw out about $600 worth of food, see if I can salvage the rug (unlikely), replace some broken items that were nearby, and hope and pray my washing machine still works when I finally get it back into its place. Thankfully, no one was nearby as they could have been seriously injured. The irony in this is I received a metal five-shelf unit from Sam's Club in the mail today that I was hoping to place in the garage, and now I have serious reservations about the safety of the new shelf and whether I should simply return it to Sam's Club rather than risking any more damage to my home.

Recieved item and proceeded to set up in garage. Shelves are sturdy, and I would think they would hold the weight described. East assembly and instructions not included. May help if someone has not installed before. Leveler on the base is key as most garage floors are not level. Great item

I found this shelf unit to be good quality and solid. I would say that it is medium duty. I think it has been engineered well. There are several configurations and there is included part to make them all work. I have included a picture of the box opening and i found the packaging to be less then desired. pieces of plastic had broken off in shipping. The box was undamaged which indicates to me that the packaging was not as engineered as the product. The damage did not effect the configuration that we were desiring so all good for me...but may not be for someone else. The second thing that was offputting was that there was no directions for assembling. There was a picture...which helped but someone with a less mechnical mind may get frustrated. I did like the fact that it came with cleaver adjustable feet. It would have been easy to give this produce a five star rating.

These shelves are awesome! The reviewer that said the tubs do not fit must not have read the instructions. I would suggest these shelves and would also suggest you read the instructions. If you want the shelves to hold taller items, simply adjust your shelving height. Please do your due dilligence before leaving a review that misleads other consumers.
