The quality of the pillow is very good. It has a nice firmness, but is still soft. The cover is very soft and although I haven't had to remove it, I have a feeling it will be difficult to get off and near impossible to get back on if you washed it. When i first got the pillow and opened it, it did have a bit of an odor. I let it air out for about a week and I don't really notice the smell now. I have tried it in bed and I find the angle awkward and uncomfortable for myself. I cannot use it to help with back support on a couch or chair because of the width, angle and height. On my couch it leaves my head without support and quickly becomes uncomfortable. So far the best use I have found is to sit on it on the floor while I fold laundry. It has helped greatly with my back pain there. I've tried it under my knees as well on my recliner and it was a bit uncomfortable. I haven't tried it lying in bed yet. In my personal opinion it is a good quality pillow. But it is going to depend on each person if it will actually be of use. For me, not so much. I am tall and my specific situation just isn't ideal for this specific item. I would not discourage anyone from trying it as it may be exactly what you are looking for. Just be mindful of the dimensions and maybe test it out with a pillow at home to see if it will give you what you need.

I find the pillow to be very comfortable & it allows me to relax. It has good back support when I sit up in bed to watch tv. The foam contours around my back. When I'm not using it my wife sneaks to her side of the bed to place under her knees. She finds it more relaxing to elevate her legs to have better sleep. Slept on this one whole night and kept hoping it would eventually warm up from my body heat and start to yield or soften at least a bit, but it never did. This wedge is therefore useless for inclined sleeping. It's also too tall for inclined sleeping, and, again, hard as a rock. Might work OK for leg elevation or as a seat back, but even then be sure you know it is hard and unyielding unless you shove your hand hard into it. Only then does it have any give at all.

I had high hopes for this pillow. It did not work out at all. It’s entirely too hard. I knew it shouldn’t be so soft that I’d sink, but this was like laying on a rock. There is no give. It’s also too long for my short body. I am just barely over 5 ft tall. I kept sliding down the pillow all night. I would end up with my head and neck at odd angles at the end of the pillow. I woke up with neck and shoulder pain. This has to go back. I would not recommend this pillow unless you enjoy super firm pillows.

They sent me a pillow that had stains on it, so it was used. I'll be throwing it away.

Just ordered 2 more. The one I purchased was on sale (all of them are) and I washed the cover while the pillow filled out after shipped in small box. I had pillows on couch but this one pillow works better and looks better. Want 2 more for the bedroom.
