I purchased this filing cabinet online because it would be delivered straight to my house. Due to health issues I wouldn't be able to physically pick this up in a store and get it home. It was delivered today and it's damaged. Totally disappointed because now I'm going to have to wait and find someone to exchange it for me at the store.

The cabinet was easy to assemble, but I didn't realize the entire side was dented in until I got it out of the box. I kept it just because I knew I couldn't get it back into the box properly and it was just easier to keep it than returning it. I have made-do for the time being, by putting the dented side against a wall..... not my original plan. I'm not very pleased, but I suppose it will do for now.

Works great! Not sure why this file cabinet got low reviews. It's sturdy, as sturdy as any other metal file cabinet. Not a thin metal like others said in their review. Very easy to assemble. Everything fit fine, lock works great, hanging files fit perfect.

first off the screws for the handles came screwed into them already I couldnt get 1 off each of them I had to attach both handles using one screw because they wouldnt unscrew why did they do this also soent money on wheels that do not fit in the small holes

I realize this is not a 'safe' cabinet, but it really feels flimsy, like you could break into it with any pair of pliers. In addition, the handles and one screw were missing, so now I have to go through the hassle of contact customer support to get the spare parts. Really annoying.

The metal on this file cabinet is so very thin. The lock is also virtually useless. You can pull on the drawer handles and partially see inside. You will not keep anyone out of this cabinet, that wants to get in. The good thing about the cheap, thin metal of the cabinet is that, once a person easily forces the drawers open, past the "lock", the metal on the cabinet will be irreversibly bent and at least you will be able to see that whatever you "locked up" is now possibly gone forever. Even a small child could break into this piece of junk.

I was excited to get this file cabinet with wheels and in white, but when we unpacked it there was a huge dent right on the front of a drawer, so returned it to the store. Delivery was prompt, but I have a feeling it was dented before going into the box because the packing seemed sufficient.

Well, with so many to choose from, I'm not sure why I chose this one: probably since it was sold by Walmart and could be returned. If I didn't need it so soon and hadn't spent and hour putting the casters on AND Walmart wasn't 50 miles away I would have returned it. Putting on the casters wasn't the easiest and I don't know how stable they are going to be but since I have it put together, I will keep it. Just research before you buy!

Mine arrived with no screws for the handles. So I noww have a filing cabinet without handles. I agree with other reviews such as the metal being thin and cheap, but that alone is not a dealbreaker for me since I just plan to put stuff in it for storage. But no screws for the handles - that really annoys me. Is there no quality control? I see now that other reviewers have also complained about missing items; is there no quality control?

This 2 drawer metal file cabinet on rollers is just what I was looking for. No medal bars are needed for hanging your pendaflex files and each drawer holds approximately 24 pendaflex files .. 1/2” full . And the drawer handles and rollers are simple to install, although I did need to apply a good amount of pressure with my Phillips screwdriver to fully secure the screws to the handles and rollers.
