You can use another brand but it just won't be as good as Cascade. I will always be satisfied with the Cascade brand on everything I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am amazed at how clean my dishes come out with this detergent. I made lasagna last night, which always makes a big mess. I barely rinsed the dirty dishes off before throwing everything into the dishwasher, including the lasagna pan and utensils covered with baked-on cheese and sauce. I have a bottom of the line (builder installed) dishwasher…nothing fancy or high tech. And I ran it on the regular cycle, not deep clean, heavy duty or pre-soak. Let me tell you, I was shocked when everything came out sparkling clean. I mean not even any water spots…and I have extremely hard water! This detergent makes my life easier and I will never use anything else. Thanks Cascade, for doing the heavy clean-up for me!

No pre washing , just throw the dishes in the dish washer with one pod and done !! Leaves them clean and sparkly every single time . We now stock buckets of these . We have tried all of them ! These by far are our favorite!

I’m usually a dish gel user, but I noticed some of my dishes weren’t getting as clean after washing. I’d still have to go in and scrub even though I rise my dishes. Using these pods, I didn’t have to scrub any dishes afterwards and my glasses were streak free!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cascade Platinum Plus ActionPacs, Fresh Scent (28 count) work wonders on my dishes! My kids have a habit of not rinsing their dishes before putting into the dishwasher but these platinum plus action packs get all the grease and food off the plates and leave them shining! I love cascade products they never disappoint plus you get a nice amount, good value for sure.

It cleans as well as any other Cascade product but leaves behind caffeine stains ( just like every other product), which is amazing considering the pattern on all my dishware is now fading. Yes, it is dishwasher safe. Yes, it is modern dishware and from a a well-known and very common manufacturer. I won't be repurchasing this product and after dealing with customer service, I would be hard-pressed to continue to use Cascade products ever again.

Our dishwasher has multiple wash modes, and before we started using these cascade packs, we were having to run our dishwasher on the full setting, which took almost 2 1/2 hours for the dishes to come out clean. We use these packs and only have to use the 30 minute wash cycle. Sometimes my wife cooks big meals that take more than an hour and getting to use the 30 minute cycle allows me to keep up with the dirty dish pile up as she goes along. It’s saving so much time and water and the dishes come out, completely spotless, including the glasses where there’s no water drops. Just crystal clear. I think it’s worth noting that we are not the most fastidious at rinsing the dishes before they go in the dishwasher. So the fact that they come out spotless when we use only one cascade pack, on dirty dishes, dishwasher crammed completely full, on a 30 minute cycle is amazing. Love this stuff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used just about all of the various Cascade ActionPacs and they all clean extremely well. Dishes come out spotless. The Platinum Plus ActionPacs are no exception, however I also find they clean just as well as the Cascade Original and Cascade Complete ActionPacs in my dishwasher. I am pretty sure the Cascade Original is the cheapest of the ActionPacs. So I’ll let price/sales/coupons determine which I use going forward because they all clean the same for us. One thing that did happen with these that has never happened with any of the other Cascade pacs we have used is that I found 3 of the ActionPacs (possibly more as my husband runs the dishwasher more than I do) split open in the container which made a mess getting the liquid part all over. Not a huge deal, they were still usable, but messier than necessary. We are using these in a higher end Bosch dishwasher purchased in 2022. Pair these ActionPacs with a good dishwasher and rinse aid and your dishes will be clean and sparkle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Cascade Platinum plus, I had issues with my previous brand not dissolving completely during the wash cycle and that did not happen when I used the Cascade not only did it dissolve completely my dishes were left clean with no stuck on food.
