Throughly dissolves in the washer leaving you with a clean scent, all without having to first rinse off the dishes. My old pots left soup still on my dishes but they haven’t. The scent isn’t super over powering. Helped get off tough grease on my pots and pans. I enjoy these pods and will be purchasing again.

I've experienced no leftover food on plates or in bowls. My large drink cups are cleaned out thoroughly. Silverware comes out of the dishwasher smudge-free and food containers are spotless. Other detergents I've tried have required me to leave some dishes in the dishwasher for a second cycle because they just didn't come out clean. Not with Cascade.
