Great for exercise!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for some good wireless ear buds that I could use while exercising that would stay in. My last ear buds would constantly fall out while exercising especially the more intense the exercise. These ear buds have little shark fins that really engage the ear and lock them in. They have not disappointed at all. Even while running on the treadmill they stay solid. I was even more impressed with the technology, which I didn't realize they had when I purchase, that includes the ability to toggle on and off the noise cancelling and ambient aware via the JBL app. I had my son at the park the other day and was listening to a pod cast, the wind was blowing so hard I could hear it through the head phones. I toggled on the noise cancelling and it minimized the wind noise by more than 70-80%. Also the ambient aware is very useful for ear buds since they can block out most noise around you. You toggle it on to better hear your surroundings if you need to be aware of that. They also have the ability to sync with your google assistant or amazon alexa, which i use all the time. Anyway I would highly recommend these! They have been the best ear buds have owned!
Straight out of the box !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these buds. Straight out of the box ,I love the case. It looks like a mini JBLspeaker. They connect to my phone very simple. The options for usage is remarkable. Google friendly.I have no trouble with calls. No one can tell I'm on Bluetooth connection. We use them while mowing and riding our motorcycle. Noise canceling is excellent. The sound is crystal clear. I plan to buy my granddaughter a set. They are waterproof which adds to the durability of these buds. JBL nailed it again.
Good sound quality and comfy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing this for a week now, and overall i have feel that this buds are really solid, they have the punchy bass jbl audio signature eq, they are confortable in the ear and they stood in there when i took them for a run, they have also work great while i answer my calls on my phone , no weird sounds or laggy they just work good.
Great Sound Quality, functionality is lacking
Bought these a few weeks ago when my previous headphones reached their end of life. The Good: The sound quality is really good! The Active Aware feature is great when running. Noise cancelling works great while working out. Talk Through is a useful feature. Pausing music when taking out one bud is great for my habit of taking one out to talk to someone. Battery life is very good. The Not So Good: I have tried all the ear adapter combinations and I can't get a perfect fit. I am a big sweater, so a perfect fit isn't going to come easy, but my previous headphones (3 adapters) had a much better fit than these (9 combinations). I find myself having to fix one bud multiple times on a run or during a workout. Lack of haptic button customization is a bit annoying. You can assign functions to a certain side, but only groups of functions (you can't have the rewind function assigned to the left bud and skip function assigned to right, as they are in the same function group). Have also had issues with the buds seating in the case to charge. Unless you get them juuust right, you can start your next workout with low battery on a bud (about 3 instances so far; has been an issue with multiple adapter settings as well). Overall, they're good buds for their sound and features, but some of the issues can be annoying and ruin a workout.

Powerhouse all arounder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took these as my only sound device for a three week trip that included working out, urban, beach, and mountain (hiking) time. They held up for just about everything I could ask for and were very comfortable to boot. Audio quality is clear, and once I got a snug ear canal fit, I could really hear the full range of bass and treble. I stuck with the default ear tips. Noise cancellation is very good for earbuds - I estimate 60% of airplane noise was eliminated. Noise cancellation was not very effective when biking at high speeds or into the wind, but that is consistent with every other pair of NC earbuds I have used. Battery life was a little inconsistent but still satisfactory overall; I ate through a full charge on a 5 hour flight but then still had over 50% left on a subsequent 5 hour flight. Charging is the only area I have a minor quibble with. The buds' position in the charging case seems to be rather finicky. There were several times I placed them inside and one side didn't charge. As far as I can tell the charging light doesn't indicate whether one or both buds are charging.
Good features but fits poorly
Sound is good and I like the features like ambient aware and noise canceling. I've tried every configuration of the ear fin and cannot get a proper fit and I have to push them back in every few minutes or I'll be scrambling to catch them as they fall. Also the left ear can only hold a charge to give me an hour of play time. I wish the buds with the ear hooks had the same features.
We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback on our JBL Reflect Aero. We're always looking for ways to improve. We'll make sure to pass this along to our development team. As for the left earbud, please know that it's possible that the battery is losing its capacity. Volume and usage can affect the battery's life. In addition, please know that the battery wears out over time. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime from full charge. Very Handy
Really enjolying my new earbuds - the noise cancelling is great. However, they are a little too large for my ears and keep falling out, even though I've swapped buds/wings. I had to get a pair of earrings that clip on to earbuds to keep from losing them.
10! Light, smart, great fit, amazing sound! Love!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've tried many many headphones and earbuds from JBL and others and though some have come close none have dethroned my favorites which are my JBL Rock true wireless flash earbuds. Until now. Every single aspect on these earbuds is improved: Noise cancelling- it works and it works well. Doesn't seem to drain the battery like some. Fit- these are lighter and not as 'big', but they somehow still fill my earholes and create a great fit which leads to... Sound- Just as good, maybe better even, than my true wireless flash. Those are the best sounding earbuds to me, better than most headphones even. Design- they are smaller and lighter. The case is smaller and lighter. Case fits in a pocket nicely. Drop and waterproof. Features and app- Pairing was ridiculously easy. The app just popped up and asked. Built in equalizer, noise cancelling, audio aware sound pass thru. One really nice thing is this: these earbuds know when you remove them from your ears and stop playing and then restart when you reinsert. Very cool! Overall, I cannot recommend these enough! Loooove them!
Needs a better design
Sound quality is great and I like the app buuut none of that means much if they won't stay in my ears. I switched to the smallest accessories and while they helped, they still pop out suddenly which isn't useful, especially on a plane where good luck on finding them before the plane lands.
Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve, we'll make sure to pass this along to our development team. Alternatively, you can try other ear tips from third-party retailers that will fit your ear as well. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer support.
Good headphones once you get the right fit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using these headphones I am for the most part satisfied. They sound very good. The sound is kind of neutral out of the box. Download the app and you can customize them to the sound you prefer. The active noise cancellation is very good. Not as good as the Air Pods Pro, but these headphones are much cheaper in price. Battery life is as advertised and the overall quality of the headphones is good. My only complaints with be the fit and volume level. I tried all the different ear tips and the best one for me were the small. I usually use the medium ear tips but for these they were too big. The small ear tips seal the best for me, but I do have to adjust them from time to time when I am working out at the gym. The volume was very low for me when I first use them. I use an iPhone 13 pro and I use the Reduce Loud Sounds setting to protect my ears. I had to disable it so the headphones volume would not be so low.
