We purchased this mattress after I hurt my back (nurse) and had been suffering on a memory foam mattress that was 10 years old. I would literally take Motrin BEFORE I went to bed so I could rest and not wake up in pain... still woke up in pain. This mattress falls under the "firm" category BUT is NOT a rock and has a little bit of cushion on top. You can actually feel the mattress adjusting to your curves when you turn side to side. I am SOOO HAPPY we bought this mattress and my back is too! The SILVER CHILL has stopped the constants sweats that our old memory foam caused. If you're looking for firm, but not a slab of concrete and a little give for comfort then this is the mattress for you!

Our mattress feels like the kind at only the finest hotels. We actually look forward to sleep now! Great combination of cradling softness with undercomponent of firm support. Love it. Only negative is that our little dogs can't jump up this high now.

I've used this mattress for the last year and it has been quite comfortable to say the least. Unfortunately, utilizing a cover to keep the mattress clean negates the cooling feature offered by the mattress. It took approximately a month to get the mattress to feel plush and not firm. I didn't know that was the case, but i am glad I stuck it out.

The mattress I laid on at the show room was wonderful. Just the right amount of cushion and firmness. Perfect for my aching back. The mattress they delivered to me is like a rock. I have complained to the store two times to no avail. They told me that I need to break this mattress in. It's ridiculous. I paid big money for this and my back hurts worse now than it did on my old mattress which was 20 years old.

My husband and I wanted to upgrade our bed. We purchased mattress from a competitor about 7 years ago and we were never pleased with it. For many years, we've dealt with lack of sleep due to our comfort level so we decided to upgrade. We are so pleased with our mattress.

We love our mattress! I was a little hesitate because I am use to a more firm mattress; however, the plush did not disappoint and was very easy for me to get use to. I do not feel my spouse moving during the night like I did with our old mattress. I was surprised to find out the mattress is a couple of inches shorter than our old mattress. It's shorter to accommodate movement when using the adjustable base. This has not been an issue.

After my first night sleeping on this mattress has been the best nights sleep in a long time. The cooling technology this bed has is awesome. If your like me and are always hot while sleeping look no further. This bed feels like you are sleeping on the AC vents in your house. ITS AMAZING. You won't be disappointed.

While the mattress worked well and was firm when we first bought it, within 6 months it started to degrade and developed large indentations where my girlfriend and I sleep. It has now become very soft and we both wake up with terrible back pain each morning. It has gotten to the point where I don't even want to go to sleep and wake up at 4am with no option but to get out of bed. Overall, we're very disappointed with the short life of this mattress, especially as we paid more for one of the higher end Sealy mattresses. I would not recommend this to anyone and hope that Sealy can improve the longevity of their mattresses.

This is the first time we purchased a premium mattress. It is also the first time we have a queen size. I will definitely encourage everyone to at least try this line of mattress. My wife falls asleep quickly and we both get a restful and relaxing sleep no matter what sleep position. Waking without body aches is a welcome plus. On a humorous note, I am just over 5' tall so I literally have to climb into bed, but the extra effort is worth it.

When we tried out the bed in the store it was so comfortable. When we had ours delivered it took a little bit to get used to it and finally it feels like it's broken in and comfy. It was very firm when we first got it. Now it feels like it forms around my body when I lay down. I love this mattress
