[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened it up, I noticed it was a white powder and not a blue gel. I prefer the blue gel, but I can deal with it. I then was able to raise it with the twist in the base, but I was not able to lower it. The twist mechanism broke. The only way to get it down is to use the lid and push it back into the container. As for usage, it was ok. It did leave a little film. If it was a blue gel, that wouldn' t happen. The scent was fine, but forgetable.

I did have problems advancing the stick out. Making it pretty much useless to me. Younger hands should not have an issue. What I did manage to use seemed like a good product.

The Wilderness Lavender deoderant and body wash is a very calming and pleasant scent. I use before a 12 - 24 hour visit to casino or a simple weekend around home. Aroma stays pleasant for a long period of time, please do not discontinue. Women or men can wear this scent without feeling out of place, wonderful!

Good that they are branching out-that original scent was doomed! Of course, remember I recieved a free sample, and that meanms I probably got a fresher product than you might get at the store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Old Spice with Lavender. I loved the smell. It was so fresh. My husband was not really thrilled with trying it out but he did. He actually liked it. It goes on dry and the fragrance stays a long time. It is not too girly smelling. It is a very different product for Old Spice in my opinion but was really nice. I think my husband would consider buying it in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old Spice Men's Deodorant - Oasis with Vanilla Notes is effective at controlling and eliminating sweat. I have used other scents of Old Spice Men's Deodorant (Wilderness) so the results on that level are not surprising. The scent is delicate, particularly a little too delicate for me almost to the effeminate level, which is really saying something coming from someone who regularly uses a lavender scented option. Maybe adding some oak or cedar scent to it would make it a bit more bold and masculine.

It just smells good, and it’s an effective deodorant too. I wouldn’t have thought of purchasing this before but I would buy it again. I would definitely recommend it.

It wasn't messy and it provided great odor protection. The product I tried was lavender scented and i really like it. I don't see many products geared towards men that are lavender and I really enjoyed getting to try this. I will definitely be buying this in the future and would recommend this to anyone looking for a refreshing subtle scent.

He used the product in the morning and it lasted him all day through working outside building and construction. It holds up very well without having to keep re-applying. He loved the smell of it, as I did also! Don't let it's name fool you! The lavender may sound like it would smell girly but it is very very manly and Cole my SO loves it. And he is very hard to please when it comes to deoderant. Him and I both give this Old Spice Wilderness deoderant 5 stars!
