[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I really appreciate that this shampoo is cruelty free. It is also silicone free, mineral oil free, color safe and pH balanced. It has an interesting fragrance that reminded me of jelly candy for some reason. The scent is on the lighter side and not too overpowering. I think this is the only shampoo I have ever used that had so much lather which was unexpected but kinda fun. I could tell that the shampoo had made my hair smoother but not really much softer by itself. I also would have liked for it to feel more clean and refreshing instead of just smooth. Overall it is a nice shampoo with extravagant lather and it definitely helps smooth hair but I would have liked it better if it has made my hair feel softer, lighter and cleaner.

I haven't used drugstore shampoo and conditioner in a long time but this is now my favorite. It cleans and smooths my hair perfectly!

Since I've started using Herbal Essences Rose Hips I can really notice how shiny my hair is. It is not tested on animals so that's a plus to me. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

As for the actual shampoo performance I was not too impressed. There's nothing too special about this shampoo. My hair felt flat and limp after the first day, and it doesn't do much for my frizzy hair.

I am happy to report that this product has passed the test. I've even used products with natural rose oils in the past, that were so strong, I just couldn't stand them. This shampoo, however, smells delicious and the scent, while it is not mild, it does not feel artificial or overly strong either. The scent is pleasant when you open the bottle, while using it and it lingers in your hair for a while. Rose flowers are one of my favorite scents, so this product is going on my favorites list. I love the fact that it contains no mineral oil or silicones. The texture is not too thick, neither too liquid. It lathers well and it leaves my hair feeling clean and refreshed.

I used to used herbal essences long time ago until I received a free shampoo and conditioner from influenster to try out their new smooth collection and I like it. It leaves my hair smelling great and it feels nice and smooth all I ask is that it doesn't leave my scalp flaky.
