Not sure about the smoothing properties, but overall it's a good shampoo. However. The BEST selling point is the scent. It instantly transports me to being a teenager. I'm 14 years old and getting ready to the roller rink wearing fluorescent colors and a wrist full of gummy bracelets. My hair is high. My braces are gleaming. This is the scent of my youth, and I adore it!

You will be smelling your own hair repeatedly after using it. It actually has rose hips as an ingredient, as well as Vitamin E and Jojoba. Honestly, after using it, my hands also smell great and they feel moisturized. And no mineral oil, so no greasy residue.

It was clean, shiny and wasn't as fuzzy as with my usual brand of shampoo. This shampoo has a very pleasant floral scent that was not overpowering.
