The scent is amazing and lasts for long time without being overpowering. It creates a rich lather, rinses out easily, and doesn't leave heavy residue on my hair. After a few uses, my hair looked shinier and felt healthier overall. The bottle also lasts a long time, which makes it a great value for the price.

Not that this is necessarily a bad thing I just didnt like the texture of it. I really loved the scent and was hoping my hair would smell exactly how it did in the bottle but it didnt and that was a little disappointing. I think if the scent would have actually stuck to my hair I would have went with 4 stars and since half stars aren't an option I went with 3.

But I am disappointed with how rough my hair feels after. My hair is soft, but super tangly. It is not color treated hair friendly. It looks like a lot of color was washed out of my hair and looks less vibrant. My hair felt really dry and tangled after I had come out of the shower. I believe this is due to there being alcohol as an ingredient in the conditioner, which is going to dry your hair out. I can usually go a number of days without washing my hair because I have trained my scalp not to produce a lot of oil. The first photo is at least 5 days without a wash, second is morning after, third is 2 days after using Herbal Essences. (Assuming photos upload correctly). This product just isn't for me, but may be for someone else.
