Great germination and thick grass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff has great germination and the included fertilizer helps it build into thick grass quicker than I'm used to.I've been using it to regrow grass in spots where my dog has killed the grass and it has been super easy to fix these dead spots.

Bluegrass All Season Long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful combination of Bluegrass's and Fescues… The stuff is the complete deal with the soil improver. It really helped me to get grass to grow for where my puppies like to go potty. It has certain seed that allows it to come out quick, but yet perennial seed that looks gorgeous year-round.

Works wonders

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm replacing my "dead" lawn, spreading the topsoil, seeding, covering, etc. on my own. After work, I spread soil and seed about 150 - 200 sq feet a day (oooh to win the lottery and pay someone to do this! LOL) My dirt supplier reminded me to be sure and fertilize, since I'm using the 3:1 topsoil mix. I have ZERO experience doing this, and the Lowe's reviews/google/knowledge of my dirt man are responsible for my success! At the time, I'd already planted, and had a solid 3" turf on about 500 sq.

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Turf Builder Sun & Shade PhysBlend Mix and appreciate your feedback. Scotts Turf Builder Sun & Shade PhysBlend Mix should begin to germinate in 6 to 14 days under ideal conditions. For this seed mix, which contains tall fescue, ryegrass, and kentucky bluegrass soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees F for the seed to germinate. Daytime temperatures need to consistently be above 65 degrees F. This Grass Seed will germinate best when temperatures are consistently in the 65-80 degree F range. In the spring it takes a lot of consistent warm temperatures to warm up the soil, especially in Canada. Cool nighttime temperatures and fluctuating temperatures will slow germination. Cold weather will delay germination but will not hurt the seed. Both excessive moisture and not enough moisture can inhibit seed germination. Weed control used prior to seeding will prevent seed from germinating. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please reach out to us at 888-270-3714 if we can further assist.

We just put these seeds down about 10 days ago and now all we got are weeds. Do not buy this product ever.

We are sorry that your Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix did not perform as expected. All of our Scotts seeds are thoroughly cleaned and is 98.9% to 99.9% weed seed free. Natural soil contains thousands of seeds and when soil is disturbed, such as by rototilling, seeds that were deep in the soil may be brought to top of soil where growing conditions are better allowing them to germinate. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please contact us to see what can be done. We're sorry to hear Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix didn't germinate for you and appreciate your feedback. For best results, day and nighttime temperatures should be consistently between 60-80 degrees. Since manure is a fertilizer, its possible too much fertilizer was added, preventing germination.
