[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like Scott's seed and fertilizer. I used to use Scott's products when my father and I owned our own greenhouses. The products were superior in quality and performance. But now I don't spend much on your products anymore, because they are so expensive! If the price was lower I'd buy Scott's all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts turf builder grass is easy to use. I spread mine with a spreader but you could use your hands. It spread out evenly and grew pretty fast I thought. Which we have had the perfect spring rain for grass to grow. It really did a great job at making my lawn look so much better than it was before. I highly recommend this product for your whole yard or just for repair spots.

I am happy to report that this grass seed always works. After spreading and thoroughly watering, I have hope that the bare areas in my backyard will be green and healthy looking again! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product a couple times to thicken and fill bare spots in my lawn. It works great after aerating the lawn or just heavily raking bare spots. Comes up fast and blends well with my other grass.

I love the color and depth of the grass. It's plush and our back yard is beautiful with a catch. However, it says a 40lb bag covers 8000sqft from a fresh build. I've used probably 120lbs on my small yard (1200 sqft) over a couple of months and it's still not as thick as you'd expect with that amount of seed. My buddy who I recommended to use this seed has had the same pros and cons. I think just 80% of the seed is bad but the 20% is great.

said i wwould have grass in 7-10 days, its been 2 weeks, no grass. i don't know if i should try again with what i have left or give up and try something else. level backyard and seeded with this product, yard looks like a trailer park. followed all directions.

I bought a house with a yard where the previous owner had a tree removed but had not covered the bare spot with lawn. All I did was spread some Scott Grass Seed & spread some Lawn Food & before I knew it was covered with a good growth. I am no expert , never work in a yard with lawn but did manage good with it. Scott products are easy to manage. You just can't go wrong with it. I now don't trust or woulds even try any other substitutes. Would recommend it to any & every one. Mahesh Desai

I followed the directions and watered it 3 to 4 times a day to keep it moist and the gras germinated. With fist application the coverage was pretty good but I did do a second application to fill it in even more. The bare spots are now fully covered and the grass looks great.

The Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed (Sun and Shade Mix) delivered a product that improved my lawn. I placed the seed in areas that received full sun and dense shade (a massive Norway Maple). This grass seed is the best I have ever used. This grass seed is superb. I am very happy with the reasults.
