Over three weeks ago I planted Scotts Turf Builder Sun & Shade grass seed mix. To this day, none has germinated. A neighbor who planted the same product had the same results. I will send an email to Customer Service requesting a refund.

I am very pleased with the results. I took the time to prepare the soil according to directions and watered it until established.

I have used this product for years with excellent results. Well, until now! Purchased this product last spring and fall and again this spring. Don't know what has happened but germination has been 50% at best. That's 6-20lb bags with poor results. This spring a neighbor purchased this seed on my recommendation and had similar poor results. Must be a covid thing?

We had a very large tree fall in our yard and after only 12 hours or so, areas of the grass were patchy. Of course it got worse when the tree removers finished. We raked up the areas and put down Scotts (coated) Grass Seed for Sun & Shade and watered, watered watered. It's been two weeks and some of the grass seed has grown. AND so has crab grass and some other plant (green leaves with purplish stems). I have pulled about 100 of these unwanted plants and there are MANY more. :( Beside that, this seed is supposed to grow grass within two weeks and I still have SEVERAL bare spots.
