I love that the mixer lifts for easier access. I like that you can buy different attachments that you can use to make pasta, pastries or even grind meat. It comes with a flat beater, dough hook and 6 wire wise. The color is nice also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer. It is strong and sturdy. It has plenty of power and has worked great for the things I have mixed with it. I was surprised at how simple and easy it is to operate once you become familiar with it. The bowl firmly snaps into place and is held very securely but also pops out with little effort when you are ready to remove it from the stand. A lever moves the lift up and down. There is also an adjustment screw to fine tune the bowl placement so the beater or whisk just barely clears the bowl to maximize mixing without hitting the bowl and causing wear and damage. It is simple and easy to attach and remove the various attachments. There is a wide selection of speed settings so you can work to your needs. The color finish of the stand is beautiful and very high quality that will not be easily damaged. It is easy to clean. The materials and build of the stand are very high quality. This is a very sturdy mixer that will last a long time. This set comes with many pieces. Having the smaller bowl as well as the regular size bowl is really nice when I'm working with small amounts. The different attachments are great for different jobs and the spatula is shaped just right to work perfectly with this set up. All of the included items are high quality, function great, and are very durable. This mixer really does make things easier and more convenient. I am happily surprised at how much difference it makes. I am so glad I tried this mixer. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a gift, and I do not like it at all. This mixer so heavy it is a struggle to get it out of the pantry and onto the counter. When you add anything, you have to stop to scrape the sides of the bowl, stop to add ingredients, and to take the beater out you have to drop the bowl down, push the beater back in your mix, then pull it out. I am soooo sad this is a present & I can not take it back :-(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KitchenAid Bowl lift standing mixer is my best buddy and helper in the kitchen. This individual machine can do a variety of functions. This mixer is very well designed, it can do each and almost every task, required for baking and cooking. I am South Asian so we need flour dough everyday for flat bread and this machine is a life saver for me. It is provided with different attachments like flat beater, dough hook and wire whip. I am lucky, I got three more gifts with other attachments. I got one small steel bowl, one more beater and sturdy spatula as well. This mixer has a powerful motor, it can do heavy work within minutes. This mixer is easy to use; you can easily lift and lower the bowl. It has 10 different speed levels which makes it more convenient and customizable according to need. The mixer is definitely of very good quality, this will last longer and I guess it can be used for generations. Different attachments are also available separately which can easily be attached and perform many duties with this single appliance. It is a one machine army. I will definitely recommend this to all cooking and baking lovers. Must have appliances for every kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I inherited my mom’s Kitchen Aid Mixer about 25 years ago. I’ve used it for baking a few times but most recently have been using the grinding attachment to make dog food from scratch. Just before Christmas, my mom’s mixer finally came to a halt. I’d consider that 30-35 year life span was amazing considering my mom baked a lot during her 5-10 years with it on top of my 25 years. Fortunately, this happened just before Christmas so Sam’s club was having a sale on them. I haven’t done any baking with it yet but my new Mixer works great for grinding up the ingredients needed for my dog’s food. I’m hopeful that this one will last another 30 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mixer. The only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is because it is a bit awkward to get the bowl and attachments on and off since the head of the mixer doesn’t lift. Other than that it’s perfect!
