Mixing your baked goods and making frosting becomes so easy with this wonderful machine. The bowl locks into the stand to bring out a superior mixing capability. The bowl comes in and out rather easily. You do need to remove the mixing attachment to remove and replace the bowl. However, the attachment simply rotates and unlocks for easy removal and re-attachment. This mixer comes with 10 adjustable speed settings for your best mixing experience. There are also several additional attachments that can be added to expand upon pasta and meat preparation as well as bread making. This mixer is somewhat heavy therefore will require some help to move if there is any weight bearing restrictions. The bowl lift feature allows for help when baking large quantities. The blue velvet color is real attractive to add to your kitchen decor. This mixer came with an additional now, an additional whip attachment as well as a spatula designed to clean off your attachments so as not to waste and of the bakery products. Overall, this mixer is a great addition to your kitchen and will make you the hit of your neighborhood while whipping up those outstanding sweet treats.

Second of all it has so many attachments, I used the grater for cheese and was pleasantly surprised how easy it way. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Stand Mixer has been a staple in my kitchen for several years, with the current classic red iteration still going strong after 7 years of heavy use. My whole family loves cooking and baking, and my husband is especially passionate about his culinary creations. We have all sorts of mixers and blenders but the trusty KitchenAid is always pulled out for the big work. The only issues I personally had with it was the weight and bulk, both of which made it all the more cumbersome to tilt lift the head to remove the bowl or add ingredients. So a couple days ago, my new matte blue beauty arrived in the mail and we were truly blown away. Aesthetically, let’s just say the Stand Mixer has made it to full time countertop space. The beautiful, matte powder blue body is classic and modern, and I swear it’s maybe a third of the weight of our old one. It’s streamlined and easy to move around. The fresh, sleek new look carries through to the stainless steel components as does the obviously increased performance and quality. Included with the mixer are another half sized mixing bowl and multiple attachments, along with a super cool spatula with a special groove for getting all the delicious stuff stuck on the whisks. The crowning achievement is absolutely the new Bowl-Lift technology that solves all of my problems and even allows my 4 and 6 year old budding chefs to join in safely and easily. With the 2 side by side, the differences are plain to see. The professional level output has twice the power so my amazing cook of a husband can go to town on everything from fresh masa dough to thick salsas to handmade pasta and everything in between. I am so excited for the kitchen memories my family and I will create together with the help of our new KitchenAid Stand Mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been happy with my purchase. The only thing I've seen that concerns me is when I used my dough hook to make some pizza dough. After my dough was ready and I went to take my dough hook off it dropped fine metal shavings in on my dough. Otherwise, the other attachments have worked as they should.

This has been a game changer. No more wearing out hand mixer motors. I cannot wait to start getting my collection of attachments and start my kitchen aid journey.

I bought this mixer a year ago. Very shortly after(like weeks) the mixer attachment had a paint chip, but nothing could be done so I let it go. The mixer itself is amazing. I bought the shredder/slicer attachment and use that all the time instead of buying shredded cheese. It’s black and looks beautiful on our countertop.
