My wife does a lot of baking and cooking in general, she instantly fell in love with this and loved all the extras it came with. It makes cooking so much easier and does most of the work for you. its heavy duty so we know it will last, works strong, and has easy-to-use speed levels. It came perfectly packaged, easy to handle, and well-protected. I would highly recommend this and is a MUST-HAVE for any kitchen.

I was so sad to discover the Hobart did not make the Kitchen Aid mixers any longer. I can definitely tell a difference. But so far it's working, I'm sure it's not going to last 51 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heavy & durable. This model works great. However if you were use to a mixer that has a turn table, this does not turn. The beater tools do a good job of gathering your ingredients together. You will have to stop. & start to use spatula to scrape sides of bowl. I say the kitchenaid products are overrated in price.

The bowls clip in and lift up and down using the handle on the side . I made bread dough and the mixer really made great work of the dough using the dough hook. I highly recommend this stand mixer.

I bought a KitchenAid Professional HD Stand Mixer from Sam's several years ago. I love it and use it often for bread, sausage, and many other recipes. Here is how strong and well-built it is: I was making bread one day and the dough was on the tough side. I was not paying attention to the mixer, and it was bouncing on the counter. It jumped off the count onto the floor. The only damage was to the little accessory door for attachments. The machine still works without any worries. It jumped because of how strong the motor is.

It makes trying new recipes fun. I make homemade yeast rolls, but the arthritis in my hands makes it difficult to knead the dough. The dough hook has been a game changer for me. Once i moved into a larger space and had a kitchen that had adequate space the stand mixer was the first on my list of things to get. I am so happy with the mixer and it works just as well if not better than i had hoped for. The color is also very nice and unique as i have not seen it before with KitchenAid stand mixers.
