This has not been what I was hoping for after spending all this money! I have the pillow top firm and it is lumpy in the middle and sinks where you sleep and only had this one month! I believe this is the worst I have ever slept on and hopefully can get something else! Sales lady talked me into a firm which I normally hate!

Previously I had purchased a mattress that was for side sleepers and thought it was great until I had my hip replaced. With a new hip I found it was like sleeping in a hammock. My new mattress is wonderful, no more hammock feel but a luxuriously firm mattress that allows me to sleep comfortably and longer.

support started failing at 3 months- now little over a year and it is unusable. inspection did not show pillow top indent of 2" (support failure below pillow top!). retailer blamed it on S&F - apparently no one makes mattresses like they used to? still paying for 200 lb mattress that we cannot spend an entire night sleeping on due to pain created by lack of support. purchased foam toppers but not enough- and now getting stuck in the trough and cannot even turn over. so disappointing. S&F uses money to promote branding but no longer on quality manufacturing. now mattress shopping again while still making monthly payments on this mattress soon to be out advertising its failure in the trash. be forwarned. if you are unhappy this company has impossible criteria for return.

We are finally able to get the best sleep we've had in years. We look forward to going to bed and "melting" into our new S&F mattress.

I have the Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop. Its a VERY hot mattress to sleep on. I have never been a hot sleeper but on this mattress, I have turned into one thanks to the Tempur Indulge foam. (This is NOT my first rodeo with memory foam). I have tried 100% Bamboo sheets, low thread count sheets, no mattress protector, and keeping my thermostat at 67 degrees while I sleep. Nothing has helped me sleep cool on this mattress. I even called Stearns' customer service and the Rep said that the cooling cover on the Lux Estate just doesn't work well for everyone. I stopped by a local mattress store yesterday and spoke with the salesman about the heat issues on this mattress. He wasnt shocked and actually told me he expects to hear more complaints about this bed holding heat. He agreed that the vents on the side of the mattress are more cosmetic than anything. It doesnt aid in cooling the mattress whatsoever. I am currently in the process of trying to buy a new (non Stearns and Foster) bed. Aside from the heat, the mattress is comfy for the 3 weeks I have had it. Its a medium soft feel and I am a strict side sleeper.

As advertised. Very comfortable. First new mattress in 30 years, and what a difference. Quality in workmanship is self evident and the comfort it provides is amazing. The registration process was clear and easy to manage. All around a great experience with this bed. Sales personnel were easy to work with, and no pressure what so ever. Very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions prior to purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like my heading states, the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Firm Pillowtop Queen Mattress is the BEST mattress I've ever owned and slept on. I'm a single mom and my budget for mattresses isn't very much and I'm used to sleeping on mattresses that go flat in a matter of months. That being said, every single night of sleeping on this Stearns & Foster feels like the first and it's been weeks! I'm not a tiny woman, I'm tall and pushing 200lbs. I haven't been making a dent in my new mattress and that makes me so happy! It's not only pretty with the designs, the pillowtop part is super soft and it's honestly the best mattress I've ever slept on!

DO NOT PURCHASE THE PILLOW TOP!!!!! We have two body indentions in each side of the mattress where my husband and I sleep. Early on I had an inspection done for this reason and of course they said it wasn't bad enough to do anything about it. We rotate the mattress often but it doesn't help. When the grandchildren spend the night they remind us we have a lumpy bed. And every day, when I make up the bed it is a constant reminder of how bad it looks because you can see the indentions.

have owned a few S&F but this one hasn't lasted very long as far as sagging in the middle. I have to get a new mattress quickly as my back is hurting. If I sleep at a nice Hotel, I feel great and have no back pain. Sorry S&F, I paid allot or this mattress and expected it to last longer. the tag states Dina Pammill was the Master Craftsman made in Indiana and also has Eileen Leigh name on it along with the number 5691. Do not buy from this company Stearns and foster , they do not treat customers with dignity, I bought the foundation and a day later I called and said that I would like to return it because the bed I am going to buy will not need foundation, they said that they do not accept returns even a day after purchase and still in the plastic
