We ordered this online, a bit nervous how it would arrive to our home. It actually came very well packaged and was in perfect shape!! It's heavy duty and perfect for a home office. It is already set up for hanging files, so no extra supplies needed. Comes with keys to lock it if you want. I'm very pleased!!

After reading reviews, I almost didn't take a chance on it arriving in good condition. Now I'm glad I did! The box did have a puncture in it and the cabinet has a small dent but it doesn't show where I have it located. It was in a box a little larger than the cabinet to allow for cushioning and styrofoam was on the corners and a few other areas. As for the cabinet it is well made, the metal handles are already attached and it seems sturdy. It is perfect for my needs and I'm very happy with the purchase so far!

If you like headaches buy one of these. If you like spitting headaches, buy two like I did. The 1st cabinet had tiny almost impossible to see metal filings (splinters) which got onto my hands. They were not noticed right away because how small they were and that they didn't immediately penetrate the skin. Penetration into the skin only occurred after moving the cabinet into place and putting files into the cabinet. I only went looking for an issue due to the small sharp pain. If I had rubbed my eye or gone to the bathroom prior to the metal filings getting securely jammed into my skin a major problem might have occurred. Note that I am a man. IMPORTANT: Wal-Mart has a liability issue by allowing the cabinets to ship with metal filings on and/or in them. The 2nd cabinet was not package as well as the 1st. As a result there was damage to the cabinet. I'm sending the 2nd damaged one back and hopping, possibly naively, that the 1st wouldn't give me any more metal splinters. If it wasn't such a hassle, I'd send the 1st one back too. I am a major fan of Wal-Mart, but they fumbled (stumbled) on this one.

Wanted a four drawer locking cabinet. It arrived in just a few days. For what I paid, it is an excellent buy. It is not a heavy thick metal cabinet, but I didn't expect it to be. It was well packed and was undamaged. When I need more cabinets I will buy this one.

We had been very impressed with the reviews so was a little surprised when the cabinet came. Over all, it is a good investment, but we were a little disappointed with the structure of the drawers. They appear to be just a little weak, but we have not filled them yet. I understand that added weight may make a difference. Any way, we needed a cabinet and we are happy to have this one.

It came in a large box with styrofoam offsets (keeping it about 1-2" away from boxing). That box is shrink wrapped with more styrofoam on all corners and around perimeter of cabinet top and bottom. It worked to protect this one. When I bought this, it only showed as available in putty, so that's the one I got. Now it's only in black??? The metal is thick enough to do the job. The drawers hold hanging files with the sides of the drawers. It works. Four back stops are in the bottom drawer (one for each drawer). Two keys are twist tied to the inside of the top drawer. The lock works for all drawers. Should be great for keeping home/small home biz records organized. Given today's prices, I guess the price is right, especially since shipping is included.

I was so happy with my first file cabinet purchase, that I decided to purchase a second one. It came quickly, just as my email said. I was a little sad when I saw the box had some damage, but when I opened it, the file cabinet was in perfect shape, just like my first one. Super happy with both file cabinets! I am the type who rarely writes reviews.

I was looking for a better quality file cabinet than the one I purchased on-line at an office supply store, several years ago. This one is great. It is solid, and the drawers slide easily open. The handles are sturdy and made out of metal not plastic. You never know what you're going to get when you shop online - but no need to worry with this one.

This filing cabinet was not only priced right it was perfectly shipped. No dents as mentioned with other cabinet. Hirsh knows how to pack and ship. It arrived about a week earlier than anticipated. When locking all drawers lock. My old one did not lock all the drawers. the extra deep draws are good to hid the not so much referenced files. Worth the money. Not flimsy at all

Looks nice but arrived damaged. At first, it was just a dent and I contemplated just living with it but then I realized that some of the drawers would not pull out all the way. Currently trying to return it but it is showing up as still being delivered so I'll have to wait. Hoping it's not difficult to return.
