I purchased this for my grandson. He has a couple of other 12Volt Ride Ons, but he loves Dump trucks. It was a great deal and he absolutely loves it!

We were impressed with the features of this Tonka truck. Our grandson loved the hard hats and the dump feature and that his little sister could ride with him.

We purchased this for our 3 year old grandson for Christmas. We had to wait for warmer weather to use this and was only used about 2 -3 times and is no longer safe to use! The throttle is stuck open and it can't be stopped! Dad had to run behind to stop this toy before our grandson got hurt. After dropping a couple hundred dollars on this toy you'd think it would be of higher quality and much safer to operate! Dangerous toy...DON'T BUY THIS TOY! We are well out of the warranty period because of Minnesota winter.

To start off with, this truck is ADORABLE. It feels much smaller than our power wheels car and seems smaller than it looks in the pictures, but it is truly so so cute. The details on the car, the shovel and hard hats it comes with...10/10 for cuteness. What this truck has in cuteness though, it lacks in power. If there's any incline at all, it cannot start from a stopped position with even just my tiny 3 year old driving. The ages say "3-8" but my 8 year old can barely sit in it--her legs press into the front and her knees jut out above the steering wheel. She's a bean pole (maybe 60 pounds) but the car isn't strong enough for her to ride on level grass. The car isn't strong enough to hold its own weight either, so if you park it on an incline it will start rolling down the incline with no one even sitting in it. We were so excited for the functional dumping aspect of the truck, but that too is disappointing. My son filled it less than a quarter full of gravel and was so excited to dump it. Dumping it is somewhat tricky because you have to pull out an unlock lever before you dump, but then every time you start/stop you have to pull that lever again. Once we figure that out, he finally got the back extended all the way up to dump out, but only a few of the rocks slid off the top and it couldn't dump the rest of it. Unfortunately it's also then not strong enough to retract the back if the back is not empty. So it's not capable of dumping the back fully, and then remains stuck upright because it can't retract it when there's stuff still in it. So he ends up having to get out and hand scoop everything back out of dump that he had scooped into the dump 🤦‍♀️ We were all so excited for this to arrive and wanted so much to love it, but it's just not powerful enough to work like you want it to...we would have absolutely loved it if it was built as powerful as our power wheels car is (it has handled our grass, inclines, and big kids without a problem...how can we combine the power of that with the cuteness of this 😩).

My nephew is a little trucker and he Loves it. Almost Two years old , his feet doesn't touch peddle yet. By spring he can can goooo !

this item has been recalled in april 2025 because it can catch fire.

My grandson loves it. Excellent quality and well-priced.

Won't fit Two kids on it. Still very reliable electric truck.
