Your pressure points are being cared for and the foam is dense enough that I feel supported but not so much that it's hard or uncomfortable. I picked firm for stomach and side sleeping, I'm still comfortable on my back, but personally prefer a side/stomach combo. I wake up with less congestion from allergies and the lower back/hip pain I used to experience has lessened, enough for me to notice it's not as intense. Extremely comfortable, I'm never purchasing a different brand.. ever. EVER. My only complaint is that my cats are trying to steal my bed from me. It's their new favorite place and they essentially sleep like they're making snow angels, taking up the entire bed... which... for (2) 10 lb cats... that's impressive.

Very comfy, not so cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this mattress (firm 14" queen Posturepedic Plus Hybrid) for three months and I've slept very well on it. The firmness is exactly right for me and the hybrid nature allows for enough cushion that it doesn't feel like a plank. My bed is my favourite place to relax, it's that comfy. The only thing I'm not happy about is the cooling aspect. I'm waking up feeling heat pooled under me. I find that I'm throwing off my covers at night (nighttime temps are in the mid- to high 30s Fahrenheit) more often than I used to - and this is with light cotton sheets and a light blanket and no heat on (often with an open window). My previous mattress was a cotton futon. I'd say this mattress is about equal to that as far as heat dissipation goes. We're still in winter so it's not a huge issue now but I'm not sure how this will play out in the summer. All in all, though, I'm pretty happy with this mattress.

Great mattress but not so great customer service

Expensive but great mattress so far. However, customer service was not as great - mainly because they have yet to even reply to my online inquiries and messages. The first delivery attempt failed because they forgot to even put the mattress in the delivery truck, which forced me to waste a day off from work. Second successful attempt was 8 days later - not a huge deal but also a bit annoying. Overall, it took a little over 3 weeks from time of order to delivery. Lastly, when I was comparing the order receipt with my bank account transaction, I found out that they overcharged me.

Brenham Soft Hybrid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Brenham Soft Hybrid mattress for just over 5 weeks now and so far, I'm really enjoying it. It's very comfortable and I love how the memory foam top is feels. It's not too hard and not too soft. I like the cooling technology of the outer casing, you can really feel it working if you have just a fitted sheet over it, but unfortunately using a mattress protector dampens the "cooling" effect and feel. I've tried a few different mattress protectors, including "cooling" ones to see if it will transfer through, but so far the best I'm getting is a neutral temp. And honestly, even for a hot sleeper like me, it works fine. Sheets make a big difference as well and switching to 100% linen has helped a lot in the comfort and moisture wicking ability of this sleep system, because let's face it... nothing is a one size fits all. You just have to find and customize what works best for (you). Switching to 100% linen has also helped me not lose as much of the overall feel of the memory foam since adding layers over the mattress can induce what's known as a drum effect, causing you to lose some sense of the memory foam with the overall tightness of the sheets, protector, etc.. Although I'm still getting familiar with the mattress and breaking it in, I never once thought it was uncomfortable. Just simply getting better with time.

Good sales experience and product...Delivery not so much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The purchase portion of my experience was easy, and we've noticed an improvement after only a few days. The delivery process was a nightmare. After several calls to Sealy and fighting with the local delivery company to schedule delivery, we received our mattress 1 1/2 months from the time of placing and receiving confirmation of our order. Sealy's website states it takes approximately 2-3 weeks from the time they confirm your order. The delay in receiving the mattress was a little irritating and required Sealy escalate to find out what the status was of my order. However, my experience with the delivery company almost pushed me to cancel my entire order. They (delivery company) called me to schedule a delivery appointment, after calling back in almost immediately, we locked in a date and I inquired about a timewindow . The Rep said they wouldn't know until the night before and would text or call me to provide a timeframe. This is when it turned interesting. I received a text the night before our expected delivery date saying that I needed to schedule my delivery appointment. I called the delivery company back and the Rep said he could see that I called in previously but didn't schedule a delivery date. I responded 1. I remember speaking with you directly to schedule my delivery and 2. Why would I call you about scheduling my delivery and not schedule a date. I asked to speak with his supervisor, and he said his manger was in a meeting, I told him I could hear you talking with your manager, why can't he join the call. I called and emailed Sealy support after my call with the delivery company to escalate again. Thankfully the manager from the delivery company called while I was on with the Sealy rep, so I conferenced him in and walked through the situation. I believe that was the only reason they agreed to deliver my mattress upon the original date we had agreed on.
