I bought this online and had someone pick it up for me (with a rented uhaul) and it was the wrong item altogether. They did not offer a resolution to get the item to my home-and I was having a party the coming weekend and had gotten rid of our old set. It was in 3 very large boxes that would not fit in the bed of a truck or it might have been easier. They did compensate me, however, all I wanted was to get the item in time for the party. The manager on staff was very nice, but her manager who was on PTO would not find an acceptable resolution. For Sams to not have a way to deliver this is crazy to me.

At the beginning of the year, I moved to a house with a big uncovered patio area that was begging for furniture. After much research, I decided on this set. Unaware of the extremely high quality of Member's Mark products, I was elated when unpacking this set. I purchased it 6 months ago, and took the photos today, so this is all 6 months old. But it looks and feels brand new. Please, forgive my gushing over it... PROS 1. It came in 3 huge boxes. I called the delivery people ahead of time and asked them to bring it to the backyard, because I am alone and there is no way I would have been able to move it from the front of the house. They were very kind and put them exactly where I wanted them. 2. The boxes had seams that you just cut through and the sides dropped down and viola! Furniture ready to unpack. Everything was so well packed and easy to unwrap. Even an old lady can unpack and put it all together. I know this because I am an old lady. 3. The frames of the pieces are VERY sturdy. Each individual piece has a weight limit of 500 lbs, That means a lot of people can cram on it and it matter. 4. The rattan is gorgeous. Photos don't do it justice. 5. The cushions are super thick and firm. Top quality that will last a lifetime. And the fabric color has perfect neutrality so it gets along with browns and grays. 6. The fire table is huge and stunning. A real show piece! It was easy to assemble and it is easy to use. And it puts out a lot of heat. I can't wait for winter to get to use it. 7. The bench and ottoman are lightweight and sturdy and super cute. 8. There is so much furniture, so very much for the money. It is fun to have so many matching pieces to place around my patio and porch. 9. I'm 5'0" and my husband is 5'10". Shocking but we are both very comfortable on it. We have never had a sofa that we were both comfortable on. When it cools down at night, we curl up on it and relax to the moonlight and crickets. Sometimes one of us falls asleep on it, it is so comfy. CONS 1. The fabric is not water resistant. As soon as it gets wet, it soaks up the water like a towel would. I purchased some spray on water proof which I will apply soon, since fall is here and rain will arrive soon. 2. The cover is not waterproof. Water sits on it for a moment, then leaks in and gets the furniture underneath wet. The cover is great to keep dust and debris off it, but that's it. I purchased waterproof covers for the furniture because I love this furniture and want it to last a longtime. Plus, it is in an area that is not covered so it will get wet when the rains come. The sectional, fire pit, tables, umbrella, pillows, and rug in the photos were all purchased at Sam's Club! Isn't this the most inviting patio ever?! Thank you Sam's Club! You've made our outdoor living the best we've ever had!

It took me forever to find this item but it was well worth the wait and effort. It is so nicely made and sturdy. Nothing like what I’ve seen online and in other places. The cushions are super thick and comfortable. And the seating is the perfect height. Assembly was super simple. We just had to put the little feet on the legs. I’m so happy I didn’t give up on it. I called so many stores so many times during the day and stalked the website like a crazy person. I finally saw one pop up online and snatched it immediately. It was delivered yesterday and I already love it!! Such a beautiful addition to our home.

Highly recommend to buy this set once is back in stock. I kept checking the website 3-4 times a day until i hit the jackpot one day. Glad i bought it because it went out if stock the next day. The set is beautiful, easy to assemble with 2 people. This set really compliment the back porch.

This set is absolutely beautiful. If you can find this set snatch it up quickly! You won’t regret it. It is so comfortable and the fire table makes the atmosphere cozy and comfortable. I get so many compliments on this set . Very well made and sturdy.

Bought this patio set to replace a smaller, cheaper set we had previously and WOW I am very impressed. Definitely worth the money!! We’ve had the set for a month and so far so good. Shipping was quick (about a week) it arrived on a pallet with 3 huge boxes. Pretty easy to set up, most of the pieces come already assembled. The hardest part was unboxing everything — again the boxes were huge! Love, love, love the heavy weight cushions. They are durable, comfy and quick drying. Our previous set was extremely lightweight and would blow away every time it stormed. Not the case with the Athena 7-piece set. Fire pit does require assembly but was easily put together. Follow the instructions and make sure the gas tank is installed properly and you shouldn’t have any issues. The Athena 7-piece set is a great addition to our patio and well worth the money spent, I highly recommend!

I was hesitant to order this without seeing it, but am very impressed. It is very sturdy and well made and the cushions and fabric are high quality. The reason for only 4 stars is the cover it comes with isn’t waterproof at all (100% polyester) and only fits properly when the couch is configured a certain way (with the longer section being on the left “L” and shorter on the right, which unfortunately does not work for our space). I’ll have to purchase another cover as this sits on an uncovered deck. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase.

Beautiful set! We were looking for a set where the cushions wouldn’t slide out from under us and one that supported our backs. This set is all that and more! Thick cushions, nice fire pit, and bonus bench seats. Can’t beat it for the price. Only “con” is that we wish we could order an additional middle piece to make the couch longer, matching chairs, and end tables. We want more!

Pros: 1) Gorgeous, roomy, cozy, and comfortable sectional, seating, and ottomans! 2) Bigger, more comfortable, much more substantial, and MUCH nicer looking quality than any other set we compared it to (similarly priced sets at ALL the other typical big box and home improvement stores). Cons: 1) SO hard to find in stock online or in stores. 2) The fire table is WAY too big, high, and awkward to use as a coffee table like they have it pictured in the stock photos and arranged at the stores. Arranging it like that makes it difficult (and very awkward) to walk around it to sit down in the corner seats. It also hides the beautiful sectional and makes the seating area feel really bulky and heavy. For me, it's just an unnecessary piece in this set. We removed the fire table from our sectional seating area altogether and I love it SO much more without it! We are using the small ottoman in the set as an end table and the long bench style ottoman in the set as a coffee table ottoman and it has a much lighter and airier look! It's far more comfortable to walk around, sit in the corner seating, and prop your feet up from any seat on the sectional. I use a large decorative tray on top of both ottomans for drinks which just makes the whole arrangement total perfection!!! Unfortunately, since the fire table is way too low to use with dining chairs as a dining table and too high to use with side chairs as a coffee table... it will require some creativity to make use of it elsewhere on our patio. I will probably put 2 small open benches down the longer sides and 2 stools on the ends to use it as an outdoor game table when not in use as a fire table. 2) The seat cushions are all exactly the same size. This seems completely logical until you put the sectional together and realize you have to literally CRAM the corner seat in. The corner seat cushion would have had to be a smaller dimension to fit perfectly but since it isn't, whichever cushion you cram into the corner gets smushed and wrinkled. Side notes, FYI: 1) I bought one of the Member's Mark Fuji stacking chairs as an accent chair for this seating area and I love it together. It's not a perfect match in upholstery color or wicker color but it's a nice compliment and adds a little texture and character to the otherwise flat/boring look we created by removing the fire table (leaving just a sea of 100% upholstered surfaces). The trays also help break it up. 2) The Sunbrella upholstery color on this set is "Cast Shale." The Cast Shale Member's Mark umbrella we bought for our dining table is a perfect match, but the Cast Shale Member's Mark lounge chair cushions we bought were NOT a perfect match (they're a much darker coordinating shade, but not a perfect match).

The furniture is nice but our fire table is defective. We have been in touch with the manufacture but they are giving us the run around. Sam's will not give us a partial credit. They said we have to return this to the store. We live 2 hours away and it is not feasible to return the whole set. BUYER BEWARE
