Cabinet is very light and flimsy. The metal is so very thin and cheaply made. Quality is definitely not there in this filing cabinet. Pretty pricey for cheap quality. The tracks that support the drawers break if you have any reasonable amount of weight to it. Will likely be returning this cabinet. Miss my old wooden oak filing cabinet I had bought years ago which broke when we moved. That was by far more superior in quality for about the same price as this cheap quality metal cabinet.

The cabinet it self is the usual thin steel. it looks nice but one of the handles were defective. Either the screw or the threads are off and will not tighten. Was kinda disappointed. Emailed the manufacturer and am waiting and hoping for a reply.

While the cabinet itself is very nice, the instructions should have been clearer. I am 66 years old and I was putting this together myself. When it came to putting the screws in the casters, I was sure that the screws were too big because I couldn't get them to screw in. I sent an e-mail to Hirsh Customer Service and told them that if they didn't send me the right screws I would sent the item back. I got a response explaining that the screws are self tapping and that I had to really push on them to get them to go in. It was suggested that I use a battery powered screwdriver. Well what if I don't have one. So I really pushed on the screws and was able to get them in. I sent them an e-mail back telling them that maybe their instructions should explain that for those of us who don't know what self-tapping screws are. zi am sure I wouldn't have been so frustrated if I had known this.

This cabinet seemed like it was made of paper thin, bendable metal. You could see inside even when the file cabinet was locked The drawers didn't seal and close. I've bought lots of items from Wal Mart Online and had good experiences but this file cabinet is junk... do not waste your time. The return process was simple ... Wal Mart is great in this department!

It was the least expensive locking file cabinet on wheels I could find. It does what it’s supposed too, but it’s not the greatest materials. A good enough tug and the lock won’t keep anyone out, the metal is very thin. The wheels are probably the best part of the whole thing.

Its a nice cabinet but the back wheels were are to install and the directions did not explain how the metal plate that you attach the wheels to stays without it falling down. It appears that metal piece should of snapped onto the cabinet but it doesn't took awhile to figure it out.

this product needs some assembly...unfortunately the parts did NOT FIT...I called customer service about this TWO WEEKS ago and still have not had a response! UNACCEPTABLE! The holes needed to attach the casters were too small for the screws and, since I am not a metal worker I have no clue how to fix the problem. For the price I paid for this, I shouldn't HAVE TO!

This item is perfect! My mom is a teacher and needed a place to store her students work, the two drawers allowed her to hang folders as needed. It was a great buy at a great price. The only things we needed to assemble were the wheels and the handles. That took less than 15 mins to do.

I chose the silver color, nice med. gray. Easy to assemble the two handle pulls & four wheels. Already has "hangers" and just had to put the pendaflex hanging files and I was ready to go. Perfect for home use. I was used to the heavy-duty files for the office and this is a lighter weight which is just fine.

Attractive. Well made. Sturdy. Drawers are spacious and glide easily in and out. Easy assembly. Would definitely recommend this little file cab to friends.
