Not cruelty free

I used for years and loved it. I decided to try something else recently when decided to start using only cruelty free products. Sadly Cetaphil is not cruelty free. If it wasn’t for that I’d recommend it especially if you have really dry sensitive skin.

This cream it’s amazing I use it for my face and a little goes a long way. I have oily face but this creams doesn’t cause me to get more oily. It stays on for forever and it leaves your face so soft. I also use it for my body and it’s still amazing it makes the skin so soft.

I absolutely cannot live without this product! It's moderate in price, but worth every single cent. As soon as I start getting low on this product I immediately repurchase. Keeps you moisturized and smooth forever. You will not have to reapply this until after your next shower. Makes your skin so soft and shine too.

Ugh...

I used the old formula version however looking at the ingredients they are very similar so I would be careful with this cream. This cream caused my face to get super red in two days. It burned and I also got acne. Idk what's in it but there is something that burns. I think it may be the vitamin e (acetate=vinager mixed with vitamin e). it could have also been the almond oil. Why would they add almond oil and say it's for sensitive skin. Almond oil is known for causing dermatitis over time and it's also a nut oil. Some people are allergic to essential oils, etc. I do like that this cream has emollients which is beneficial for dry skin, but there are irritants. This cream is also slightly acidic. Could be a good thing for scaly skin to remove flakes, but remember anything that is acidic could cause sensitivity. I do not recommend this product. I recommend the gentle cleanser from this line and that's it. I'm hoping cetaphil comes out with a moisturizer with minimal ingredients that are for sensitive skin!

Affordable and amazing

The Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is a tried-and-true classic, and after using it for a while, I completely understand why it’s such a favorite among skincare lovers. If you’re looking for a no-frills, super-hydrating moisturizer, this one delivers in spades. Texture and Feel: The texture is rich and creamy without being overly greasy or heavy. It spreads easily, so a little goes a long way, and it absorbs surprisingly fast for such a thick cream. Even though it’s marketed for dry to very dry skin, I think it works well for all skin types if used sparingly. Once applied, it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated without that annoying sticky residue. Performance: This cream is amazing for repairing and maintaining the skin barrier. I have sensitive skin that’s prone to dryness, especially in colder months, and this cream works wonders. It provides long-lasting hydration—I can apply it in the morning, and my skin still feels moisturized by the end of the day. It’s also fragrance-free, which makes it perfect for sensitive skin or anyone trying to avoid irritants. It’s not just for the face, either—it works beautifully on the body, especially on areas like elbows, knees, and hands that tend to get really dry. It’s a true multi-tasker, and I love that I can use one product for so many different needs. Packaging: The cream comes in a tub (and also a squeeze tube option), which makes it easy to scoop out the amount you need. The tub is large, so it’s great value for the price, but the packaging isn’t the most hygienic unless you use a spatula. Who It’s Best For: If you have dry, flaky, or sensitive skin, this cream will be your best friend. It’s a go-to for winter months when your skin needs extra TLC, but it’s gentle enough for everyday use year-round. It’s also ideal for anyone dealing with conditions like eczema or irritation because it’s simple, effective, and soothing. Cons: • The rich texture might be too heavy for oily skin, especially if used during the day. • The tub packaging isn’t the most sanitary unless you’re careful about how you use it. Overall: The Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is one of those dependable products that does exactly what it promises—deeply hydrates and protects your skin. It’s affordable, effective, and perfect for anyone who needs serious moisture without bells and whistles. It’s definitely a skincare staple!

I love the cream in the winter when my skin can get very dry. This cream provides just the right amount of moisture without being too sticky or thick. I would highly recommend this cream to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive way to get smooth skin!

not for people prone to Milia

Let me just share this with those prone to Milia, one of the ingredients is Petroleum and that will cause you to get a milia breakout. Just wanted to share that because I would want someone to have shared it before me. Doesn't take away that this product might be great for those who don't have to worry about milia.

I use this cream everyday on my hands after washing them and on my body, especially my feet. I have dyshidrotic eczema and this hydrates/rehydrates my skin to keep the blisters, pain and itching at bay. I do wish it did stay on through hand washing since I do have to do that quite a bit sometimes and wearing gloves is not always an option. Other than that, this is a nice fragrance free option that absorbs quickly, hydrates and does not break out my sensitive skin.

My go to for oh so much! Sunburn relief, night cream, day cream, after shower, after shaving. I have sensitive skin and this is more than just a "safe" option for my skin. And the store brand knock offs dont compare, they leave a film and don't absorb - this classic leaves no film, no grease, no residue - just pure basic moisturizer that truly makes a difference in my skin. Summer, winter - all year round this is a staple in our home.
