I bought the Estate Rockwell 14.5" luxury plush, Queen, prime only two years ago. For the last six months I have been waking up with neck and back pain. I realized it's because the mattress is sagging in the middle. I'm the only one that ever sleeps in the bed and I only weigh about 140 lbs. Thank goodness there is 10-year warranty. But now I have to go through the hassle of getting a credit and coming up with the difference! I purchased this because it was recommended highly by friends. I'm very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress proved to be excellent for my back. I was skeptical for the ultra firmness but it proved that this is what I wanted. I do not use a spring box and I have it on the floor (sleep with my 2yr son). It helped my back pain disappear and it is highly recommended if you are sleeping on your back. Granted, I'm not able to sleep on my stomach any more but I do not care. It is a thick mattress that adds several inches clearance from the ground. Sitting on the edge doesn't create an issue i.e. it doesn't sank in. It may take a couple of days to adjust to it but I will never go back.

I'm a single mom and my budget for mattresses isn't very much and I'm used to sleeping on mattresses that go flat in a matter of months. That being said, every single night of sleeping on this Stearns & Foster feels like the first and it's been weeks! I'm not a tiny woman, I'm tall and pushing 200lbs. I haven't been making a dent in my new mattress and that makes me so happy! It's not only pretty with the designs, the pillowtop part is super soft and it's honestly the best mattress I've ever slept on!

The soft pillowtop is like sleeping on a cloud! I feel totally supported as I sleep. I also don't sink into the mattress. This is important, because you don't want to have trouble getting out of bed! The mattress is also cool - I never feel hot during the night time. I have always bought higher end mattresses, so I am not comparing this mattress to a cheaper mattress under $1000. If you want to invest in pure comfort, this is a fantastic option! I would recommend to anyone who needed a softer bed.

The sleep I get is worth every penny this mattress retails for. The firmness is comfortable for both myself and my wife and we are very picky about firmness of a mattress. It is the perfect amount of cushion from the pillow top to give about 3 inches of plush comfort to the firm mattress. The mattress almost cradles you so that any position is comfortable. The mattress is firm enough to support weight on the edge of the bed without feeling as if you will roll off. Mattress bounces back every morning and does not leave indentations where bodies slept. The mattress does not make any creaking sounds when you move around at night either. Love the mix of comfort and support!

I bought this mattress because of the reputation of the company and reviews and am very disappointed. After using it for six months it is sagging and I wake up with back and hip pain every morning. I never had back problems before getting this mattress. I am not even finished paying for it and am already looking to buy another mattress, but it won't be a Stearns and Foster.
