There's quite a bit to do before you can fly it though, like calibrating and syncing, but I guess it's generally the case for drones, I guess? Also I had issues getting the recording to work, even though it says it was successful. But also, this thing is FAST and very responsive. The flying experience is an absolute joy. It's so fun to zip this thing around.

This drone has some pretty awesome features with a lot of extras like and extra rechargeable battery, propellers etc. The 3 different flying modes are pretty sweet and it’s pretty easy to operate for first timers. The camera and videos look pretty good for someone who is just using the drone for recreation. I love the build in phone holder on the controller. The only thing you really need to get are the batteries for the controller and an SD card to save whatever videos and photos you’d like. The run time on the battery is pretty good, lasts a little over a half hour. It’s great that there’s a back up battery too. Overall this drone is a blast and my son loves it too!

Flying time is close to 30 minutes and doesn’t take a million hours to charge unlike some of the other drones I’ve previously owned. I am so impressed with its image quality! I took it on vacation with me to Mexico and was able to get some beautiful mountain and ocean videos! Showed my family and they they couldn’t believe how professional it looked! Super easy to navigate and user manual is also very thorough to help you get started.

Includes everything, plus extras and even a nice case to store everything in. This drone works so great. It went super high in the sky and goes pretty far from you. The control is pretty easy to use and has information on it to tell you about the drone and the controller. It is super durable as well!

I stumbled upon Vivitar VTI Phoenix foldable camera drone. I have to say for my first drone, I can’t ask for anything more. This little guy is fantastic! The weather has been super windy lately, so I was very eager for a calm day. The directions were easy to follow, and I was able to get the hang of flying this drone in no time. This drone is such a beast! I took it with me when I went to the park with my children and dog, and got some great shots of us playing frisbee. Picture quality is very decent. Vivitar VTI Phoenix foldable camera drone would make an awesome gift for anyone looking for a drone! My children had so much fun as well. I’ve been teaching my eldest how to use it and I’ve never seen him so enthused. I like that it comes with a carrying case, it’s easy to pack everything up and put away. The only non-positive thing about this drone is the battery life, I wish it lasted twice as long. Other than that I’m very satisfied.

The set up was easy and the app works well. It’s easy to fly and control once up in the air and the camera is pretty decent for this price point. My eight year old daughter can fly it and does pretty well, too.. didn’t crash it at all! We have a lot of fun with it and it’s definitely a good purchase!

I am extremely impressed with the quality, handling, and camera as well. It took a little time to understand how to properly fly and learn the different features and functionality, but once the learning curve is crossed, it is a joy.

It was really easy to set up only took a few minutes and we were ready to flu it comes with two batteries and extra propellers. It was very easy to fly. It has up to 30 mins of flight time per battery and you can record while you fly. Such a fun hobby.

I was able to fly it around and take a video around my property and snap a few photos of the top of some pretty tall trees. It followed me around the property pretty easily. The 2 batteries make it a lot more fun. They last about 20 to 25 minutes for me. My dog thought it was a great toy to chase above his head. This was so much fun. I let my son use it and kept the app open so I could see what he was doing. It is very responsive and I would recommend it for fun.
