I purchased this mattress to replace an older Sealy Posturepedic that is still in good shape, but it is a little softer with a plush top. I have sciatic issues that wake me up at night and wanted to try something firmer. I have been on this one for a week - so far, so good. I am not waking up with low back pain, but I am still adjusting to the firmness, as I am a side sleeper, so sore shoulders can be an issue. Will purchase a thick mattress pad1-2" topper if necessary to resolve that.

The mattress is great! The registration process is not customer friendly. If you get the mattress delivered and set up the SN is not readily available to register the product. Also, your SN or the receipt should suffice instead of making the customer look up mattress name, type, firmness, etc. You could make this process better by listing on receipt or at delivery that the SN is needed for registration so customer has a heads up and doesn't have to tear the bed apart to find the necessary information. My husband and I love this mattress! It has a soft top that lets you feel like you are sleeping on a plush mattress, but the mattress itself is firm and supportive. We definitely prefer firm mattresses, and this one meets our needs. It's hard to get out of bed in the morning! We love it!

The name of the mattress I purchased is SMB Diego, Firm Tight Top. It's been less than a month and the hip, knee and shoulder pain that had me tossing & turning on my former mattress has been eleviated. I'm sleeping better and mostly undisturbed until sun up. This was my objective in purchasing another new mattress. I'd only had the former mattress, purchased at a reputable, local mattress store, for 5 months. It did not fit my needs. I hope & pray this isn't ultimately the case with my new Sealy. So far so good. Although I believe nothing will ever take the place of my Stearns & Foster, my Sealy is as close as I could find.

This bed was purchased for my 91 yr old mother in law. She has slept wonderfully the past 4 nights and the adjustable frame keeps us from using 6 pillows to keep her propped up. It also makes it easier for her to get in and out of bed. So far an excellent purchase. Thank you for her comfort.

Have only slept on the mattress 4 nights now but have noticed the hip pain I was experiencing (side sleeper) has not been there. Mattress is firm, but not too firm and I think it will take a while to break in. Bought a mattress topper just in case it was too firm, but it's still in the box and I'm hoping I won't need it. So far we're happy with the purchase.

Had no Idea lower back pain can be caused by a Bad Mattress. Never had pain as severe as I did those two weeks. I could not stand up straight, I could not walk without pain. As soon I bought my Sealy Response Premium Cushion Firm Queen Mattress my pain completely disappeared on my second night. I am so glad I bought my mattress. Thank you Sealy. This mattress stopped my lower back pain immediately. I no longer wake up with a stiff back. The mattress and foundation sits higher on my bed frame than my last bed did but It's a nice change. If you suffer from lower or any kind of back pain, this mattress is a great option, the right amount of firmness and some softness.

We are really enjoying our new mattress. When we got it, it was a bit too firm. I thought we were going to have to return it. I gave it a week, and I am in love with the firmness. My neck aches and hip pain are gone, and my husband is sleeping better, too.
