My husband and I bought this mattress. We have had the mattress for three months. He his a heavier guy (approx 400 lbs). We were assured by the salesman that this bed would accommodate his size. However, this mattress did not even make it three months before the memory foam began to deteriorate and deform. He now has a body sized imprint/hole where he sleeps. I end up sliding his way during the night and we both end up uncomfortable. Otherwise the mattress was comfortable in the beginning.

This is a well built mattress and box spring set. I am disappointed that it is not "plush" and I don't sink in or feel like I am on floating on a bed of clouds. It is firmer than I like. It does support your back if you are a back sleeper. I sleep on my side and require a much softer bed. So far I still wake up with hip and shoulder pain due to the firmness of this mattress. I am going to try it for a bit longer to see if it might "break in". I would recommend this bed to someone that likes a more firm than plush bed. Don't get me wrong this bed is not firm, more so medium firm, definitely not Plush.

It is my primary nightly bed. The mattress as it was purchased is a little too firm for me. I had to put a small quilt on top of the mattress to make it useable. I do not recall the mattress being so firm at the time of purchase. I was not looking for a soft bed, but also not a hard one. The quilt I put on top makes it usable for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How does this product compare to other products you've tried? It's been a long time since I have slept on a brand new, good quality mattress. I must say, it feels great to have a comfortable, sleeping surface waiting for me every night! Prior to Sealy's Posturepedic Spring Tight Top Soft II, I slept on a refurbished mattress that required a mattress pad so we could sleep better and prior to that I slept on a futon (I definitely needed a mattress pad for that one). It's sad I put off getting a good mattress for myself for so long, especially considering we spend a good amount of our life in bed. This mattress is so comfortable, I can do away with my mattress pad. I sleep so comfortably now. The mattress itself is actually affordable and I would definitely buy it again when needed. I recommend this product to everyone.

Finally a firm mattress that gives you a perfect nights rest! I used to get up 5-7 times a night because I was uncomfortable in my old mattress. My back gave out and I finally am able to sleep in one position, toss and turn with ease. It's firm and heavy! You'll love this bed, trust me!

We waited way too long to get a new bed so when we got this bed, it took us about a week to get used to actually having support where we needed it. My husband has a bad back and we needed a bed that would support his back and allow him to wake up feeling rejuvenated. This bed did the trick. My husband sleeps on his belly and side and I sleep on my side and back. This bed works for both of us.

It took a couple of nights for me to adjust to the new bed and decide that it was a good fit, but my husband was an instant fan. He's a back sleeper and I'm a side sleeper. I woke up with soreness for a couple nights, but even from the first night, I slept completely through the night, which was not common for me before this purchase. We've had the bed for a month now and I'm sleeping great and have no regrets!

Pros: - Extremely supportive. After only 2 nights, my lower back ache went away completely. - Does a great job of preventing movement from transferring from one side to the other. Some movement still transfers, but it's much better than a traditional coil mattress. - After the break-in period, I find it to be very comfortable. For my wife, it's just good enough. - Doesn't seem to retain heat, though I have yet to sleep on it during the summer months. - Feels very solid and durable. But only time will tell... Cons: - It took a good long while to break in before finally feeling comfortable (~1.5 months). During that first week, my wife and I both hated it. Each night got gradually better after that. - Even after 2 months of nightly use, it's still not quite as soft as I'd like. I still notice pressure points towards the end of the night, and it's firmer than my wife would prefer.

At first,​ I wasn't so sure which mattress to get going from one brand to another with nothing in my liking. I then was told that there was one more bed brand I could try out. When I got on the display Sealy bed it was better than what I was looking for! I ordered my new bed the same day (Saturday) and I got it as fast as Tuesday afternoon! I love my new bed and I can't thank Sealy enough for creating this amazing mattress!

I am recovering from a fall and am in a wheelchair and also use a walker. Since getting this mattress and box spring as a gift from my church I have been able to get in and out of bed on my own and I have had the best nights sleep I've had in 6 months since my fall. I would definitely recommend this mattress.
