I wore them and walked on my knees on the wooden deck and tiled kitchen floor. They were comfortable and easy to use. I didn't feel the floors through the pads. Only issue was that they eventually had to be tightened as they moved after a while.

These are comfortable with a decent amount of padding. These are great for doing floor work. The only thing I disliked was experiencing a slight sliding around the kneecap while wearing them. I think getting a smaller size would have fixed that.
