I have arthritic hands, so this mixer is a lifesaver. You can even use it to shred chicken for tacos! Love how it comes with 2 stainless steel bowls,5.5 and 3 quart, along with different attachments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned a KitchenAid stand mixer before since i used to live in small studios with cramped kithens. Once i moved into a larger space and had a kitchen that had adequate space the stand mixer was the first on my list of things to get. I am so happy with the mixer and it works just as well if not better than i had hoped for. The color is also very nice and unique as i have not seen it before with KitchenAid stand mixers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to return my 1st one because the beater was leaving dark scratches Inside the bowl, and from the paddle it was chipping so I definatly didn't want to chance eating that. so I returned the 1st one and got another one, with this one it doesn't seem to reach the bottom of the bowl with like cake mixes etc.

Great for a while. Our Artesian series broke so we replaced it with a 7 qt. November 2023. It is already broken. In 5 years we have had 3 different Kitchen Aid mixers break. It is disappointing and we now will try to find another brand. Every issue has been a motor issue.

I debated between a lift bowl and a lift mixer head for a bit because I've had both in the past and there are pros to both. In the end, this model is sturdier and can handle larger quantities of dough and mix. The engine feels more powerful than the smaller models as well.

The 3-point locking bowl is a must for me. It holds the bowl in place while I'm mixing heavy ingredients, leaving my hands freer to quickly incorporate additional ingredients and, allowing everything to stay closer to the best temperatures. The 5.5 Quart Bowl is large enough to handle several batches of dough at once, and big enough to whip enough potatoes for my large holiday gatherings. My only want is for a handle on the mixing bowl. The included flat beater, dough hook, and wire whip had me all ready to tackle every dessert I've ever wanted to make. I also find the included 3-qt stainless steel bowl, mini whip, and spatula very useful. I highly recommend this KitchenAid stand mixer, it's beauty, and functionality are outstanding.

I bought a KitchenAid Professional HD Stand Mixer from Sam's several years ago. I love it and use it often for bread, sausage, and many other recipes. Here is how strong and well-built it is: I was making bread one day and the dough was on the tough side. I was not paying attention to the mixer, and it was bouncing on the counter. It jumped off the count onto the floor. The only damage was to the little accessory door for attachments. The machine still works without any worries. It jumped because of how strong the motor is.
