[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress has negatively impacted my quality of life by giving me ongoing back pain, interrupted sleep and exhausted days. This mattress was not even 6 months old when it began to sag in the sections where we sleep, especially where my husband sleeps. When my husband would get into bed, I would roll downhill towards him. I never have back pain or back issues, but this mattress has consistently given me a sore back from sleeping on it. I'm very disappointed with the quality of this product. When I called customer service, they said I had to file a warranty online and the service representative sounded frustrated that she even had to tell me this. Overall, such a disappointing and frustrating experience. We purchased this mattress after previously owning a Stearns and Foster mattress for over 10 years, which had held up wonderfully. My husband bought this current one for me as a birthday present after having my third baby, and I hate that it caused me more pain postpartum than anything else. The pain and discomfort now wake me up multiple times a night, so much so that I end up in my kids' bed. I would not recommend this company based on their rude customer service and process or this product; shop elsewhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a light sleeper and my husband tosses and turns, so with our prior mattress it was rough getting a good night sleep. We are so happy with the new split king lux estate adjustable mattress. It's soft but firm, and we love that we can put our head or feet up independently. Neither of us wakes up with back pain like we used to and most of all, my husband can move all he wants and it doesn't interrupt my sleep. The only thing I don't love about it is sometimes after adjusting each mattress, you have to push it back over a little to the center to push them together. I wish the mattress had a backing similar to a rug for no slipping against the frame so this doesn't happen. Even with that, still great purchase and experience for us! Easy to order online and the delivery guys were great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with construction of the mattress and its apparent sturdiness. It is a very heavy mattress, not easily movable when trying to tuck the sheets under it. Unfortunately, the firmness I selected was not good for my back. I initially tried the soft level mattress, but decided to go with the medium because of back issues. However, my back pain increased, so I had to return it for a softer mattress. I purchased the Lux Estate because it included 8 vents, as well as a cool-to-the-touch cover to keep heat from building up. But the mattress held the heat of my body, even after I left the bed, you could still feel the warmth on the spot where I slept. I also bought this mattress for the enhanced pressure relief, but I believe I purchased the wrong feel. My soft feel should arrive in a few weeks . Overall, I believe this is a very well made mattress, that will provide me the comfort I seek for years to come. I do not regret purchasing it, despite the temperature short fall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife had been complaining about back issues for the past year after our Denver Mattress foam bed had worn down after only 5 years. We tested this bed out in a retail store and my wife said that this was the one. I love how S&F doesn't make the item until you order it, and it hasn't been sitting in some warehouse for a year. My wife thinks it's a little more firm than the one we tried at the store, but she has zero back pain, sleeps completely through the night, and loves this mattress. Me, I could sleep on a rock & be just fine, but even I have to admit, this thing feels pretty stinkin awesome. It's definitely better than the foam one and holds up nicely with activity like folding it up for watching TV. Yeah, it was expensive, but I now have a very happy wife so it's a bargain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience was unexpected. I ordered on July 4. A month later I received notice that my mattress would be delivered the next day. I was thrilled. The next day I received a call telling me that my mattress was ruined by a lift truck. So I expected that Sterns and Foster would jump on it and rush a new replacement. A month later I hadn't heard from them, not even and I'm sorry. Then I started calling and calling. They have a computerized operator that that can't answer anything, when you ask for a real person it takes three requests to get someone. Then you go on hold for twenty minutes and then they transfer you, guess what more than twenty minutes. After six weeks I get connected to their escalations team which is very good at not telling you what is going on and when to expect my purchase which was fully paid for a month before. On Sept 28 my mattress finally came without one word from the factory nor even an " I'm Sorry". Well even though I love my new mattress, I guess I'm the only one who will say , "I'm Sorry" that I didn't cancel six weeks ago. Sincerly, Phil

By far the absolute worst customer service experience that I've ever had. I ordered a Lux Estate PT Firm, based upon other reviews and the Stearns & Foster telephone sales reps recommendation. Everyone was saying that "even though it's designated "Firm-It's more like a medium". Well that couldn't be further from the truth. It is as hard as a rock. I've been trying to initiate a return/exchange for almost a month, and have gotten nothing but grief. The returns dept tells you one thing, the sales dept tells you another. I've after dozens of calls, and at least 12 hrs total spent communicating with reps from both departments. I still have not gotten any resolution. Meanwhile, my back is broken from sleeping on this slab of rock they call a bed. I couldn't be more miserable. NEVER AGAIN! Next step will be to call Wells Fargo and dispute the transaction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not happy. The mattress is way to firm for a medium mattress. I now have to buy a soft topper mattress pad because it is too firm. Never buy without first trying it. Since i had previously bought two it didn't seem necessary. Not bery good help online. The only thing i love is the appearance.

They're a bit pricey but worth every penny! You truly get what you pay for with Stearns and Foster. I've tried many brands throughout the years and all of them were a waste of money!
