Awesome Tent

This tent was set up in 2 min, and it handled a severe thunderstorm with high winds and marble size hail. Stayed dried for the whole 3 days camping trip. If this tent broke, I would buy another one.

Not weather resistant

I want to love this tent, I really do. But I just can't. I am really glad I set it up in my back yard to test for a night before taking it camping for real somewhere. Pros: It is absolutely huge! It comfortably sleeps my family of five with air mattresses. It is also tall enough for my 6' husband to stand all the way up in. There is a flimsy room divider that we didn't even try out -- kids were too scared of the dark to be apart from us. Two doors, one is larger which makes moving stuff in and out much easier. Setup really does take 2-3 minutes total. Only part that required two people was the rain cover. Two small pockets for phone, etc. Lamp hook Cons: Absolutely zero wind resistance. So on a chillier than normal July night that got down to 58°F, we felt every degree drop. The light breeze even merrily whooshed around the tent. The ONLY place that is water resistant is the floor tarp. We didn't even get rain or anything, just the dew SOAKED the lower portion of the tent, so EVERYTHING around the edge of the tent got wet. So at 58°F and being wet -- we all got cold FAST! Which is Soo disappointing. I can't imagine what it would be like with real rain. Where I live, weather is completely unpredictable, so planning for weather isn't possible.. Mesh portions are spacious enough that smaller bugs get in. Luckily the mosquitos and ticks are too large to get in. But ants and small bugs can -- which in my region the ants can and will bite. And the noseeums are so awful and bite like crazy. There are so many great things about this tent that I want to love it. But the cons of it are so substantial that I just can't endorse it. I feel obligated to keep it and figure out how to better water proof it at least.. My kids tried researching and picked it out for my birthday. We may try to make it work somehow, since we can spray for bugs and use more blankets and clothes (we live where summers can get 100°F + and winters can get -35°F -, we are used to layers.) We can even tie down solid tarps for above to prevent more water and wind, but it is ridiculous to need to buy extra tarps etc when they boast these features. It is even worse knowing that the walls aren't even remotely water resistant, let alone waterproof.

Horrible

Lasted 2 camping trips. 5 nights total. Used a tarp under the tent. Bottom is already worn through in several places. Don't waste your money. This tent does not last.
