[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deodorant worked great, it was a different smell than I was used to, but it had a very fresh smell. Overall the product worked very well. To give some more background on myself, I work 12-hour shifts in a non air-conditioned factory, I need something that doesn't let me sweat through my clothes and has me smell good the rest of the day. This product did just that, I didn't sweat through the deodorant, and I still smelled the fresh scent of the deodorant after a 12-hour shift. It proved to pass the test so I give it my sign of approval!

I've been a longtime user of another brand and been reluctant to change. After using this product I felt the smell, ease of use, and the lack of residue were really surprising. I may reevaluate my other brand next time I'm at the store buying deodorant.

I mean it comes off in the wash but throwing on a pricey Tshirt and not being able to wear it because of the deodorant stains is a downer. Dove, please change your formula back to the old 48 hour non citrus Extra Fresh. The new 72 hour citrus one smells extremely pungent amd sickening, my wife could smell it from 3 rooms away and forced me to wipe it off my armpits with a wet paper towel. I had to throw out the double pack and clear the store out of the remaining 48 hour ones. I'm hoping your team reintroduces the old scent by the time I am through with my supply! I've been using Extra Fresh since 2010, but if the old formula isn't brought back I'll have to move on.

My son uses the one with sport on the front. Not sure if this is that one. He had his first year in middle school and wanted to smell nice. He doesnt have any body odor issues (thank goodness) but at least he wants to take care of himself. I let him use dove because its good for the skin and he has sensitive skin and this doesnt break him out. He can still feel like a pre-teen lol!

I've Purchased both the gel like deodarant, and the chalk like as well. the only reason i ever buy the gel like is because i hate getting the worn chalk marks on the armpits of my shirts but it burns my underarms and never keeps the smelling fresh. however the chalk like version ABSULUTE BEST I EVER BOUGHT. it covers doesn't irritate or burn, and it really keeps my underarms fresh until the end of the 2nd day. all i know is for the coverage its the chalk style.

I have used the extra fresh antiperspirant for a decade plus. This new 72 hour formula smells horrible, it smells nothing like citrus and permeates the air. When wearing it I smell absolutely nothing but this. I had to take a shower to get rid of most of it. I really hope this isn't the new scent for the bar soap and shampoo too since I love those. For now the antiperspirant is completely broken and unusable. Switching brands immediately.

I have been using the 48 hour for about a month and works works EXTREMELY well. After 24 hours, it is still working before I take my text shower. I have not experienced any wetness during that period of time. I do not experience any residue as one reviewer mentioned. This is a one fine product.

Whoever approved this new 72 hour citrus scent should be fired! Don’t they do any testing before replacing the amazing 48 hour scent that everyone loved with this new crap that doesn’t pass the sniff test?? I was embarrassed the first time I wore it as people could definitely notice the strange pungent scent!

If it ain't broke don't fix it! Adding Citrus scent to a extra fresh scent was the worst thing to do for this product! Smells like coconut now! And feels like coconut oil moist paste underneath my arms and it makes this product form a little bitty balls of deodorant underneath my arms that I can feel! Extra fresh scent should smell like clean linens not like a tropical scent! Tell me where I can find the old product before you destroyed this one with citrus!
