My son uses this deodorant, which has a nice, fresh scent that is not too cologne-like and seems to be effective. It can be a bit strong and overpowering when initially applied though seems to fade to a more normal “fresh” level within about 15-30 minutes. Long-lasting and holds up to hard workouts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good deodorant, but I think my sprayer was a little broken or the bottle was not pressurized enough. It sprays very weak when I was half done with the bottle. The only thing I think they can improve on is to offer a wider variety of scents for the spray deodorants. Maybe some designer fragrance inspired scents. Like Aqua Di Gio, Bleu de Chanel, Armani Code, Dior Sauvage, Creed Aventus, Creed Green Irish Tweed, etc. These are all good scents to incorporate into the spray deodorant.

I received the Extra Fresh line of Dove Men+Care free via Influenster for the man in my life my husband. I had him test it out to see what he thought about it. The first day he used it I immediately knew. It has a very STRONG scent. I am not very fond of it but my husband likes it. He likes to use this dry spray before going to the gym every morning to prevent body odor during his workout and to make his clothes smell good. He states that is very tough on sweat and keeps him smelling fresh during his entire workout. He also sprays is on his workout clothes to keep them smelling fresh. It goes on dry without leaving any residue. He also really likes that the antiperspirant doesn't irritate his skin, is 100% alcohol free and does not dry out his skin. He has been looking for an antiperspirant to use prior to workouts and he has FINALLY found 1 he loves and will use all the time!!

I don't feel protected when I use a spray. I'm sure it's all in my head, as I don't have pit smell stories to justify it, but solids prevent that sticky skin feeling that drives me insane. However, Dove has given me a new battle tool in Florida summer humidity: underboob protection! The girls are feeling less icky since I decided to give them a blast of this antiperspirant spray. He has been a old spice man for the 18 years we have been married, but not anymore. He loves the fresh fragrance but it’s not over powering.
