I've had this mattress 4 months and it's definitely a keeper! It's the right combination of firm support (I had back surgery 17 years ago) and relaxed comfort. I don't wake up anymore with an achey back, hip or shoulder.

This mattress provides support to to both a side sleeper and a back sleeper. The quality is great and it seems that it will be able to withstand my husband, who is 270 lbs and myself for years.

I bought this mattress set for my spare bedroom. I have had several house guests since I received it and they all love it and get a great night's sleep.

After 12 years of our Tempurpedic, both it and my back were sagging a bit. I needed something firm. The West Salem cushion firm is perfect: rigid, but soft, comfortable on back, side or stomach.

Love the softness and firmness of it. I really needed it. My back pain disappeared. Although my queen matress was larger than my queen platform i still make the mattress work for me.

I sleep on this every night, the adjustable base is awesome and easy to use. Mattress seemed a little firm at first but, had a great night sleep every night.

I regularly wake up with lower back/hip pain so was primarily looking for relief. I also bought a mattress topper a few weeks into testing so it's difficult to rate the quality of the mattress. I still wake up with aches but less consistently

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently have another Sealy Posturepedic which is a firm european pillowtop. It was way too soft. So that is why I wanted to try this Ultra Firm. It is definitely more firm than our current Sealy, but I would expect it to be a little more firm. It is 10000% comfortable and easy to sleep. Even my wife who doesn't like firm mattresses falls asleep easily. Very good quality and definitely would like to recommend it to everyone. Although, I would give it a 4.5 due to the firmness. This firmness does allow for comfortable sleep for different sleepers. It is versatile and can be a good fit for most people.
