We had a nice firm mattress from another brand that we have been using for 20 years and it was finally time for a new mattress. We came across this one, which felt "softer" than I was used to considering this is a firm. Mattresses have changed a lot in 20 years, and this sealy has felt awesome so far! The hard firm that I was used to what from pure springs from the old mattress. This hybrid has the best of both worlds. I know from experience at sleepovers, that the pure foam mattresses were too hot for me personally, yet the layer above the springs on this mattress have not been hot at all for me. And the mattress is still firm, yet comfortable for me to sleep on my side now, without my shoulder eventually hurting from the pressure. I really love this mattress!

We've tried three and all were fails despite the rave reviews - too soft or too hard, too bouncy or too sinkable - we've never found our perfect fit. When we were given the opportunity to try out this mattress we figured why not since at this point we have nothing to lose and I'm so glad that we did. We've had the mattress for a few weeks now and we're sleeping better than we have in literal years. No tossing and turning, no waking up sore; as soon as we lay down, we fall asleep. It's the perfect blend of firm without being too hard and soft without feeling like we're falling into our bed's base. I would recommend this mattress to anyone looking for the perfect blend of comfort and support!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I excitedly received this Sealy Brenham Hybrid mattress about a week ago and after a few nights of sleeps and days of lounging it it - I am ready to review! This mattress is amazing! It's both cooling and soft, but still firm enough to provide good spinal support. It's very comfortable as well and doesn't hold onto exterior smells. I would absolutely buy this product and highly recommend it to everyone. It's a big upgrade to other mattresses I have tried.

I previously had a Sealy Copper II Hybrid which was very firm for me. After changing to the Gold Chill Plush Hybrid mattress I am no longer waking up stiff and sore. The mattress has excelling cooling memory foam so I am not waking up sweating. Soft but very supportive. Very little motion transfer is felt when my spouse moves around in bed.

I had chronic back pain for years and finally got this mattress and a Sleepy's coconut bliss pillow and my pain is gone, haven't woken up once during the night since I've had it and I feel so rested and refreshed every morning. This is such a great mattress for half the price of a similar Tempur-Pedic. It is firm but also plush, perfect balance.

After sleeping on the same mattress for probably 15 years or longer, the springs were gone and so was my back. I compared sleep number mattresses, foam mattresses and traditional mattresses and decided the Sealy Hybrid was best for my needs. I wanted an adjustable bed (never had one before) with firm support. Overall,I am happy with the product - although it is a little cushier than I expected. My back feels better and I don't wake up with a headache anymore. My only complaint is that with the adjustable base, my mattress seems to slide down and leaves a big gap at the headboard. Every couple of days I push it back up and this will probably get old after doing it awhile. It can only slide so far because of the brace at the bottom - just wish it didn't slide at all. Overall, a satisfied customer.

We had a Sealy before and knew we wanted another one, just a King size now. We went shopping and found the Sealy Hybrid Silver Chill. I know it usually takes about 2 weeks to adjust to a mattress, but we both slept like babies the first night. We found ourselves spending a lot more time in the bedroom just so we can hang out in bed. We never feel the other one getting up in the middle of the night, no motion transfer, it's that good!!!!

Our mattress feels like the kind at only the finest hotels. We actually look forward to sleep now! Great combination of cradling softness with undercomponent of firm support. Love it. Only negative is that our little dogs can't jump up this high now.

We have 7 bedrooms and bought 1 king, 3 queens, 2 twins. From the beginning the sheets would not stay on and was very uncomfortable. I called mattress firm and they told me what sheets to get. Still wouldn't stay on. Spent over a 1000 on sheets. Nothing works. 1.5 years later we have lumps forming on the sides. I have never had these problems. I have to sleep in a guest room. Thought spending over3k on a mattress it would be comfortable. Mattress firm video chatted with us and were very insulting saying it was unsanitary with stains. No stains and we have a beautiful home that I clean every day. If it's because there was some dog hair, tennis ball, and a glass under bed it's because one of our labs hid everything under the bed. That would not affect the mattress. Needless to say, we will not be buying another bed from them and are letting everyone we know, not to buy this model and do not buy from Mattress Firm. This was obviously a defective Mattress. Very sorry we bought all the other mattresses from them.

We started our Sealy experience with the soft version of this mattress. However, we had to exchange it due to waking up with lower back pain every morning. We figured the medium version would help provide that additional support that we needed. We also purchased Sealy's standard box frames to go with the bed. We had the same mattress for 10 years prior before deciding to try Sealy. I never had any issues with back pain or being uncomfortable, but we wanted to upgrade to a king size bed and had the room with our new house. I've never so immensely regretted a purchase until this one. Every morning I wake up with a sore back and shoulders. I toss and turn all night, not even being able to sleep on my back because the bed is so unsupportive. For a medium bed, it feels like my butt sinks to the floor and my shoulders barely move. No proper support to be found. I have never hated a bed more before. If you are a back sleeper looking for a comfortable, supportive mattress, this is not it. I wish we had a way out from this mattress, but we already used our exchange thinking we would only be getting a more supportive bed. Instead all we got was lost sleep and some of the worst back and shoulder pain I've ever experienced. Stay away from this mattress.
