While the mattress worked well and was firm when we first bought it, within 6 months it started to degrade and developed large indentations where my girlfriend and I sleep. It has now become very soft and we both wake up with terrible back pain each morning. It has gotten to the point where I don't even want to go to sleep and wake up at 4am with no option but to get out of bed. Overall, we're very disappointed with the short life of this mattress, especially as we paid more for one of the higher end Sealy mattresses. I would not recommend this to anyone and hope that Sealy can improve the longevity of their mattresses.

I've used this mattress for the last year and it has been quite comfortable to say the least. Unfortunately, utilizing a cover to keep the mattress clean negates the cooling feature offered by the mattress. It took approximately a month to get the mattress to feel plush and not firm. I didn't know that was the case, but i am glad I stuck it out.

First send had major defect which someone at Sealy should have noticed . The gray cover was not tight and top corner was loose and the bottom corner had so much fabric that it stuck out about 2", forming a large point. Looked like a reject! The store promptly within 2 days, delivered a new mattress when inspected, looks OK. The mattress is very comfortable, but have only slept on it for 2 nights.

We've been sleeping on it for about 2 weeks and are loving it. We slept on a very firm futon for 34 years and so were concerned about a mattress top being too soft for us. I didn't want something that cuddled me; I just wanted firm. This mattress fits the bill. My only concern is that since we don't use it with a box spring, it's a little awkward to make it with clean sheets since it's necessary to lift up the mattress to tuck it in. This could be a larger concern as we age, but then we can just get a box spring and a regular bed frame. For now we are sleeping very comfortably.

After testing and researching mattresses we kept returning to the Sealy Hybrid. This mattress so far has delivered a great nights sleep no matter what position we are sleeping. The only issue was the time it took to off-gas the foam which we understood from our research would happen; we waited two days before we slept on the bed.

My husband loves our new mattress but I'm still getting use to it. To go from a very plushy mattress to a firm can take a while but I do think purchasing this hybrid was the best thing for us. It gives the support we are looking for but still comfortable.

We purchased this mattress after I hurt my back (nurse) and had been suffering on a memory foam mattress that was 10 years old. I would literally take Motrin BEFORE I went to bed so I could rest and not wake up in pain... still woke up in pain. This mattress falls under the "firm" category BUT is NOT a rock and has a little bit of cushion on top. You can actually feel the mattress adjusting to your curves when you turn side to side. I am SOOO HAPPY we bought this mattress and my back is too! The SILVER CHILL has stopped the constants sweats that our old memory foam caused. If you're looking for firm, but not a slab of concrete and a little give for comfort then this is the mattress for you!

As we have had the bed for only 60 days, everything is going well. But not at first. It took that long to "break-in" the mattresses. The salesman told us that it may take a few weeks for the mattress to grow accustom to our sleep habits. He was correct! We absolutely love our mattresses and the great nights sleep that we have.

What's great about this mattress is that it is equally supportive to both my spouse and my body. Something that our old mattress failed to do. Both of us hated going to bed because we knew we'd get hardly any sleep and worse, we'd both wake up sore all over. Not only is the hybrid memory foam system supportive, it manages to be cozy upon entry, making the act of going to bed something we both look forward to every night.
