[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the comfiest mattress I have ever slept on. The pillowtop is as soft as a cloud and cushions and cradles you when you lay on it. I sank right in, but the rest of the mattress is thick and firm enough that I still get the suport I need for my back. I knew I was going to like this mattress, I didn't know it was going to change my sleep as much as it did; snuggles the insomnia away.

I have the Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop. Its a VERY hot mattress to sleep on. I have never been a hot sleeper but on this mattress, I have turned into one thanks to the Tempur Indulge foam. (This is NOT my first rodeo with memory foam). I have tried 100% Bamboo sheets, low thread count sheets, no mattress protector, and keeping my thermostat at 67 degrees while I sleep. Nothing has helped me sleep cool on this mattress. I even called Stearns' customer service and the Rep said that the cooling cover on the Lux Estate just doesn't work well for everyone. I stopped by a local mattress store yesterday and spoke with the salesman about the heat issues on this mattress. He wasnt shocked and actually told me he expects to hear more complaints about this bed holding heat. He agreed that the vents on the side of the mattress are more cosmetic than anything. It doesnt aid in cooling the mattress whatsoever. I am currently in the process of trying to buy a new (non Stearns and Foster) bed. Aside from the heat, the mattress is comfy for the 3 weeks I have had it. Its a medium soft feel and I am a strict side sleeper.

This mattress itself looks luxury. It is pretty thick, but has vents on both sides to keep it cool. Have been using the mattress for more than a month. The mattress is comfortable, haven't cause my back pain up to now. My husband thinks the 'cool to the touch' feather is not as good as it looks like. He feels this mattress is a little hotter than our old one, I don't think so though. One thing I don't like about his mattress is that, it is too tall for me, I am 5'2" and I have to climb onto the bed every time. Even my husband who is 6'2" thinks it is too tall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is comfortable enough, but extremely heavy. It is most difficult to lift while placing a fitted mattress protector and fitted sheet. I wish I would have be appraised of this in the store. It is not practical for anyone with ordinary strength. I noticed the delivery men even had difficulty lifting it to remove the plastic covering. What do you suggest?

I suffer with low back pain, but even after 1 sleep on this matress, I could move better & think clearer because I slept so good! When I read about this mattress having a cooling technology, I really didn't believe it, until I slept on it. I did not get overheated during the night, which was amazing because we leave out thermostat a little warmed than the downstatirs, so it was a win for me! I purchased my mattress as I was working for mattresss firm I love the sterns and foster collection! I was having bad back and hip pain and upgraded my mattress to the lux estate I love it I sleep well. My husband loved it as well, the perfect level of softness for me not supper soft and not super firm. Only thing I wish it had the option to feel more on the tempur indulge foam and the mattress can be very heavy when I'm changing the sheets. I love the support of the springs. The weight of the mattress is my only con but as far as comfort and quality I'm super happy! I don't see myself changing this mattress any time soon definitely will stick to the sterns and tempur family for my sleep needs. I plan to add a adjustable base in the future, been thinking about it . Great mattress

If you often feel your bed is too soft the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top is the mattress for you. I lay on the floor because it help my back but since having this matress, I no longer need to. It is very firm, the firmest matress Ive ever used and it doesn't make me sink down . Since having it, my hips and back no longer have pain. I sleep longer and wake up refreshed and without pain. My previous matress was semi-firm but gave out after a few weeks. It started having dips and was extremely soft. After a few weeks of using the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top, it still holds up its firmest. This matress is thick where a box spring would sit you up really high off the floor. I would recommend a bunky board instead of a box spring. If you do enjoy laying on the floor, this is the matress for you! You wont regret it.Definitely recommended this product

Previously I had purchased a mattress that was for side sleepers and thought it was great until I had my hip replaced. With a new hip I found it was like sleeping in a hammock. My new mattress is wonderful, no more hammock feel but a luxuriously firm mattress that allows me to sleep comfortably and longer.

Purchased a very expensive estate mattress for second home in Florida. Only have slept on the mattress less than a month! The mattress is defective. Mattress sinks in when lying on it. I am a very petite woman who is older. STEARS & foster will not stand behind their products if you are out of their said warranty period NO EXCEPTIONS! THEIR COMMERCIALS ARE LIES. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY VERY DISHONEST COMPANY
