I am a 6'2", 220 lb sleeper. My wife is a bit shorter a lighter. I'm a back and side sleeper. She is a side sleeper. If I don't have good back support, my low back will not like it. If the top is too hard, my wife's shoulders and hips will be heard about. We have never had a king size bed. OMG. And the mattress makes us both very happy. We do have to spin the mattress every 1-2 months (we have owned it about 3-4 mos now so maybe did it twice, just to mix up the pillow top a bit. I have to emphasize, my wife is picky, she is very happy.

We recently went to a friends house and we were fortunate enough to sleep on this mattress. I was experiencing severe pain in my L5 S1 vertebrae. The night that I slept on this mattress for the first time in a long time, I actually got a good nights rest. The following week when we were home, we opted to buy this mattress as it had proved to be a mattress that I could actually sleep on and rest on without having pain in my lower back.

We have not officially slept on our new mattress as of yet, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get my new Sterns & Foster mattress while on sale. We had a tornado hit our home Nov 2024, we had to completely move out of our home due to 95% structural damage to our roof. It rained into our bedroom and our King size Sterns and Foster Silver Dream mattress was soaked! The absolute best mattress we ever owned! So, it goes without saying I’m sold on Sterns and Foster to manufacture the best mattress on the market for us! We hopefully will get our home back at the end of January 2026 and I am looking forward to a good nights sleep on my new S&F mattress! Thank you S&F for our new quality built mattress!

When my husband and I were first married, nearly 60 years ago, we had the money to purchase only one item of furniture. It was a Stearns & Foster mattress. Over the years when that mattress had to be replaced...and we needed beds for our two daughters, we opted for an unknown brand at a mattress store: big mistake. A second replacement for our own king size bed was a well known, well advertised luxury brand a friend had raved about. Another mistake. Well, at least I learned from my mistakes. With our nest empty, we needed a mattress for our guest room. We did our shopping correctly this time. Went to a high end department store, tested out all the mattress within our price range (and I do mean tested...by taking off our shoes and lying down), We chose a Stearns and Foster "Tropical Oasis: Saba Wind." Success. Happiness. Everyone who slept on the mattress commented on how comfortable it was. Fast forward to several months ago. My husband complained. Our "luxury" was way past its expiration date. He was falling into some kind of invisible hole he told me. I made an instant decision. I called Stearns & Foster and asked for the current iteration of our "Saba Wind." The very nice young woman who answered told me the Lux Estate Pillow Top Medium would be the updated version. I drove to a nearby store that had this exact model on the floor. Yes! Beautifully comfortable. Incredible support. Perfect. Firm yet not too firm. A pillow top with provided just the right amount of "give." We're thrilled. We made the right decision. We've lived and learned. The "bargain" mattresses were a waste of money. The famous brand earned no fame from us. It simply didn't hold up over time. We're back with Stearns & Foster, where we started out. And we're happy!

I have owned two Stearns and Foster mattresses prior to my most recent purchase. All were pillow tops. The new mattress has sa very beautiful design on the exterior. There’s a pattern of a Fleur De Les. Being for New Orleans it just needed to purchased. I definitely do like the blue darker color. The mattes give a good night of rest. Only thing that I would say is that the other mattresses that I one can be flipped over to the other side. Both sides are pillow topped. It also feels slightly less firmness around the outer edge. I know that with new technology and products too make the product have gotten better quality over time. With all that has been said, I hope to have it for a long time.

We were looking for a firm mattress in originally purchased a Beautyrest Black. Was very disappointed with it and sent it back and replaced it with our Sterns and foster firm pillow top. The difference is that with the beauty rest it was firm, but actually quite hard. After just a couple nights of sleeping, a divot formed in the mattress, which shouldn’t happen. The Stearns and Foster is firm, but the pillow top gives it a little bit of soft comfortable feeling. While the mattress does conform a bit to your body, The, divots in the mattress aren’t quite as noticeable as with the beautyrest. Pro tip: purchase your mattresses online directly from the manufacturer site. Delivery was a breeze, and you won’t need to pay a large return fee to a furniture store. Wish I had known that from the start.

This very expensive mattress is lopsided and has a dip after 4 months. Another reviewer indicated it's like sleeping in a hammock and that is EXACTLY on point. This occurred just outside of the 3 month replacement warranty. After dealing with a million picture requirements, my appeal for replacement was rejected because the indentation was not "deep enough." It is literally like rolling downhill from one side to the other. Memory foam is supposed to rebound, but it doesn't in this mattress. If uploads were allowed, I would have uploaded a picture with my level showing how lopsided it has become. I previously had a S&F matress for 10+ years. I'm so disappointed in this new one and will not purchase this brand again. Oh and it cannot be easily rotated since it is super heavy.

This is my first time to own such a luxurious mattress!! My husband and I both have been sleeping so much better. We ordered the medium tight top Lux estate and I am still in awe at how incredibly well made it is. It feels like sinking into a cloud at the end of a very long day!!!

Suffer from a bad back. The firm mattress gave me the comfort and support needed for a good night’s rest. Just after one night, could feel the difference. Woke up refreshed. Wife says she hasn’t seen me sleeping this soundly in years. The mattress is absolutely perfect!

I was really not interested in changing out my previous mattress. However I was convinced that some of my back pain was coming from my previous very expensive soft mattress. After exploring everything on the market, I kept coming back to this mattress and up till the day it was delivered. I was nervous the first night sleep was spectacular and every night since it’s been the same. I love it so much. I’m buying a second one for our other house.
