This is definitely meant to be a "firm mattress" even more so than I had anticipated. it was so hard that I added a 2" memory foam pad on top of it in order to be a little more comfortable. When they say that no part of you sinks into the mattress more then any other part, it's true I don't know if I "sink" into it at all. Overall I have been working on my posture and this is helping me to not sleep hunched and more flat, This is a mattress that takes some getting used to but overall is pretty good.

This mattress replaced one I had for over 25 years. I was hesitant to replace my old mattress because most of the models I saw were very thick and I could not sit on the edge and have my feet touch the ground. My new mattress is about the same thickness so easy for me to get in and out of bed. Feels great, very comfortable and very affordable. Sorry I didn't buy it sooner.

We've had our Sealy Cushion Firm Queen about two weeks now and sleeping extremely well. Best part...leg pain and muscle cramps seem to have gone away! Used to wake up every night having to jump out of bed to relieve those muscle cramps! Now waking up rested without aches and pains! So happy with the choice we made!

I have severe back injury and arthritis issues. These date to my military service and several injuries in the intervening years. I have also had back surgeries. My condition deteriorated to sleeping on the floor. I had tried many beds and mattresses as well with no enduring solution. I even bought a mattress on a frame that elevated head and foot--$5,000 and ineffective. After 6 months of agonizing effort I went back to the floor. My wife and I were couch shopping and I walked to the bed showroom. I laid down on a few with no support of the kind I need. Then I lay on the Sealy Queen Performance Firm Top and refused to get up for a half hour! Paid for it (and the couch), made delivery arrangements for the next Tues. and am sleeping as God intended. Incredibly comfortable bed. If you like firm, but don't want to feel like you're laying on the ground, this is perfect. This bed has given me the best night's sleep I've had in a while. It's so comfortable, I have trouble getting out of bed in the morning. I could stay cuddled up in this all day.

I am very happy with my mattress. I actually slept over 7hrs last night, which has not happened in a long time! I love that it is so quiet getting in and out of and turning over in bed etc... It makes me feel like I am being held, or that I am not alone (all the reasons I was thinking of buying a weighted blanket, which I still may do), and the mattress has also relieved my back pain. It completely removes the pressure from my shoulders and hips, those areas being able to sink into the mattress, helping my spine align correctly. The adjustable base is all I ever wanted; I can sit up a little bit or raise my legs etc...LOVE the Zero Gravity feature, YOU MUST TRY IT! I absolutely love everything about my Sealy!

Great, Well constructed, firm mattress. To be transparent, if I slept directly on this, it would be to firm for me. However, it is perfect for a base for a 3" Talalay Latex topper, which makes this the perfect mattress. I purchased this mattress with this use in mind, so it wasn't a case of the mattress being to hard. The mattress was exactly what I wanted: a high quality firm mattress to put my topper on. If you like the premium hotel brand mattresses, this mattress with topper duplicates the feel for a fraction of the price. Don't get Dunlop Latex. It sleeps too hot. A 3" topper with a firmness of 24-28 ILD (medium firmness) is just about right.

Without realizing it I ended up purchasing another Sealy to replace 15 year old Sealy mattress. Didn't occur to me when I was trying mattresses in store that I ended up narrowing down my selection to same company I bought from 15 years ago. I require firm support but enjoy the comfort and feel of a pillow top. Well worth the extra dollars for pillow top. High Quality and my old mattress lasted over the ten year warranty so I am confident in this purchase that the new set will last just as long.

I had slept on a waterbed for about 32 years, since I was a kid. We wanted to transition to a more "traditional" mattress and bed. We were looking for something very close to the same feel. We laid on countless mattresses in store and finally settled on one. However, after getting it home and sleeping on it for a week we discovered that the feel with a mattress protector and sheet was quite different than the bare mattress. Returned that mattress for this one and have been very happy so far.
