Great work laptop

I ordered this laptop to use for my work (word, email, zoom). The screen size is great, because it is plenty big to see all my work. It has been great, ive had it for a couple months. Only thing i don't like is the charger is a bit annoying, because it has a special charger. No issues, been efficient and workd great!

So so happy with my purchase.

I purchased this PC approximately two months ago and very happy with my purchase. I can always depend on HP. I’ve had zero issues.

Unable to register for 2-year HP Care

I am unable to register this HP Model# 15-D1011CL purchased at Sam's Club for the HP Care Pack offered with the purchase. HP.com does not recognize the model number, nor does it accept the S/N or P/N as listed on the box. I contacted HP Support (by chat) and not one of the two representatives could help. In addition, the internal specs state the 1-year warranty expires in October 2025, but I didn't even purchase it until 12/02/24? Is Sam's Club pulling a fast one on us customers with false advertising? Any ideas on who to contact to get this problem resolved? The laptop itself is fine, but the inabilitiy to register either for the warranty or Care Pack is definitely bothersome.

Older manufactured computer w/Sound issues

It is a very nice computer but if you want sound, don't buy this one. The sound quite working after about 2 weeks. I called HP support and they walked me through how to fix it. Their fix worked for about 5 hours, then no sound. I repeated their fix several times over the last week but sound keeps stopping. Also, I found out the reason Sam's Club gives you a 2 year ADP Care Pack is that the computer is old and about out of warranty the day you buy it! Don't buy this computer.
