I usually LOVE Neutrogena products. I was really excited to try this one because my skin is super dry. I love the exfoliating Hydro Boost scrub, so I wanted to pair this with it. I tried it on my hand and loved the feeling. I put it on my face this morning, and my skin looked and felt amazing. I honestly can't remember the last time my face felt so good. My typical foundation blended over this nicely, and surprisingly enough, it really smoothed out the skin underneath. At first the smell was alright, but it has been on my skin for 5 hours now, and it is overwhelming. I get migraines from intense scents, and I have one currently. My skin is also starting to itch. If the fragrance wasn't a part of the product, it would be a 5/5. My sensitive skin and migraines aren't enjoying this at all.

My dermatologist recommended the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line to me and I have purchased the serum, water gel, and eye gel cream. I like the eye gel cream, which seems to have no scent, and the serum, which has a little scent. The water gel, however, is unpleasant to wear because is too strongly scented. It would be great if Neutrogena would reformulate the water gel with less or--better yet--no scent.

My typical moisturizer is netrogena moisturizer for combination skin. Hydroboost water gel is so moisturizing. I love how light and cool it feels going on my face. A little goes a long way. It doesn't leave your face greasy. I also like the smell of it. I have officially found my new moisturizer. I do wish the jar was a little bigger for the price but that wouldn't stop me from buying. I was able to test Neutrogena hydro boost water gel for free and my opinions are my own. I would recommend this product to anyone which I have. :-)

Wow! I really wanted to like this product. Unfortunately even though my skin looked and felt great the fragrance was OVERWHELMING! I smelled it from the time I put it in in the morning until I washed it off at night. I can't understand why they would put a fragrance in a face cream. I can't believe I read about this on a dermatologist blog. Almost great product. But ultimately an epic fail.

I bought this product after watching a skin care video by a beauty influencer on YouTube. I have been using different neutrogena products since I was a teen and besides the makeup removing wipes this is no my FAVORITE! I'm on my second jar now and it has brought so much moisture of my skin and I never had a break out which is huge for me. It's affordable and the smell is an added bonus. Overall i would recommend this product for sure!

I've been using this for about a year and love it. It works on my middle age skin and equally as well on my teenage daughter without causing break-outs. We live in a very dry climate so it is a real statement to say it keeps our skin soft and moisturized. My comment is that the package uses SO much plastic! I'm certain there is a way to cut down on that waste. I'd feel better about how many we've purchased if it didn't put so much in the trash or recycle bin.

My pores normally clog with facial moisturizers, but this one simply seals the water into my skin after cleansing, and feels great! It hasn't caused one pimple, and it dries quickly for me to put foundation on soon after. Best moisturizer I've tried.

i am always on a search for facial products for a good price. I love for my skin to look toned and feeling fresh but I'm not too big on dishing out big bucks on products that I will use everyday, meaning it will run out quick. Anyway thank to Influenster I received Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Water Gel complimentary to test and review. Initially I wondered what a water based product would do for my skin but after one application I was in love. You immediately feel and difference. After being consistent with it for several days I could see a difference as well. My skin no longer looked dull and dry. The product should be used on a clean face to assure accurate results. I like double up and use it as a light make-up primer as well. I'm not sure if that's it's purpose but hey it work for me. So why not try it out. I have not always liked some products I have received but this is one I will definitely be purchasing once my bottle runs out. I felt compelled to write this review for others who may be in my position. I am in my mid 40s with fair Celtic skin, which is prone to irritation and has large pores. All of my entire adult life, virtually every moisturizer, even those labeled non-comedogenic, would cause occasional blemishes and always perpetuated my face full of blackheads. I would use salicylic cleansers to rid my face of blackheads, but my face would then get so dry that is was flaking. I would then use a moisturizer to ease the flaking, and the blackheads would immediately return. This is the first and only moisturizer that I have used that does not cause my blackheads to reappear. My skin is supple and soft with virtually no visible blackheads and blemishes. I simply cannot believe the transformation in my face. If they ever change this formula, I will cry. It was the ONLY formula whose ingredients matched a chemists' list that I researched on the internet that rated ingredients based on their lack of pore clogging properties.

This is an excellent product! Having used many applications (Mary Kay, Oil of Olay, Clinique) I have found that this is the best stuff on the market. Not only does my skin stay moist all day long, I also love the way it smells! For someone who doesn't like scented lotion, it has been difficult to find something tolerable and affordable. People compliment on how moisturized and young my face looks. Been using the product for 2 months. I have already convinced another person to invest in the quality of this product and try it. She loves it! Only con, is I wish it came in a value sized container.
