I got this because my face would be oily and breakout when i used face oil at night. I needed something that was moisturizing and didn't cause more excess oil. I read reviews about this product and thought it would great. It hydrated my face and when I didn't have any excess oil or pimples in the morning.

I hated not being able to find a moisturizer that didn't make me feel greasy or just overall gross. This moisturizer is my favorite, it also has a small fragrance so if you don't mind that I would recommend! I love how this product makes you feel moisturized but not leaving you with a greasy/ shiny look. All time favorite!

I love the cooling feel of this gel, even though the title says its for dry skin, I have oily skin the the summer with the humidity and I liked this for my oily skin. It felt light and cooling without suffocating my skin or adding extra oil to it.  I would definitely purchase again.

I have been using Hydro Boost water gel for about 2 weeks now. I must say that I am just in love with it. I apply it every morning after I get out of the shower, just before I put my make-up on. It absorbs very fast and does not leave my skin feeling oily or greasy. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized, refreshed, & invigorated. It leaves my skin smooth and hydrated. I've also noticed that my make-up looks smoother since I've been using thr Hydro Boost. I highly recommend this as a daily moisturizer. It is definitely a new part of my daily routine that I will continue from now on. I am very pleased. Drenched skin in a tin! This is so great for dry and oily skinned people as well as sensitive! It's fragrance free, does not clog pores and is non-greasy. It feels very luxe, but thin and lightweight. The gel moisturizer works well alone or under makeup. You can use this with the rest of the hydro line, but it also plays well with other products and brands. Overall I would definitely recommend. Neutrogena is always a safe bet and great drugstore brand, in my experience and opinion.

I've used Neutrogena products for a long time. I was in search of a hydration cream that worked on sensitive skin (as I often get dry skin that becomes irritated upon moisturizing) and stumbled upon the gel cream Hydro Boost product. I've been using it since then. It hydrates my dry skin very quickly and doesn't irritate my dry patches. I highly recommend this product!

I absolutely love this product. Its so good for hydration! I have oily skin, and it does not make my skin worse! Only issue is its kind of pricey for a drug store moisturizer. Nonetheless, it is so worth it. It's also a dupe for the tatcha water cream!

I keep repurchasing this item because it WORKS! I love the way it keeps my face super moisturized and clean , I'm oily so I was nervous about this product but it has been sooooo good to me the price point for the quality is unmatched! If u havent tried these neutrogena lines of hydrogel you're missing out oh soft beautiful skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm normally not a fan of gel based moisturizers, as I feel like there is always residue left on my face. This moisturizer was surprisingly great, especially for hot, summer days! It absorbed well and my face felt soft & moisturized with minimal residue feel. I still prefer my cream based moisturizer for every day use, but will definitely use this after a day in the sun.
