Definite Glitches With This TV

I purchased this a month ago. So far the TV has shut itself off while I was watching it. I lost volume on the TV twice, no, the mute button was not on. Yesterday it would not turn on, the light was on in the lower left hand corner but no picture until I unplugged the TV and then plugged it back in. I called tech support all they could offer was that if this happens again I should call them when any issues arises. They were trying to be helpful.

Great picture quality and value for money

The picture quality is similar or maybe better than the c7 I already own. Great value for money and you have all tech to future proof. The only problem I have is the Visio software hangs a lot. Like 3 times a day and you need to unplug your tv from power socket to fix it. I am hopping a s/w update can fix it. I use Apple TV to overcome this.

Fantastic TV

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. Easy to install and set up. Fantastic picture! We love the smart cast and look forward to our elderly relatives coming over. We can FaceTime our loved ones and airplay it on the TV and everyone will be able to see.

Great TV with needed firmware updates

Bought this for the HDMI 2.1 features with VRR to play with my next gen console. TV picture is fantastic, but it needs firmware update ASAP to fix glitchy hand sync issues with hdmi inputs and to activate the Variable refresh rate features @120. Vizio needs to tweek the motion tearing algorithm. Not too noticeable, but it does show up unlike the LG cx.

VIZIO - OLED 65”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tv was my first upgrade for OLED. All I can say is WOW! Has an incredible picture and lots of features. I mainly bought the TV because I had already bought two other Vizios for my house and this VIZIO OLED 65” replaced my 58” SAMSUNG LED and was better priced then Samsung.

Great picture, horrible as a PC monitor

I love the picture, but I bought it to use with the Xbox Series X (coming soon!) and as a PC monitor. It looks great on my old Xbox One X and uses the HDR and VRR available there wonderfully. However, as a PC monitor it becomes annoying quickly as it will dim or go completely dark frequently throughout the day. Buried in the User Guide it says the TV will dim after 1 minute if it detects no change in the picture, and will go dark after 10 minutes, and there is no way to override that. It is difficult to read a page of a document in less than a minute, especially when so much is visible on the large screen. I was able to fix the dimming by using a slideshow as my desktop background that refreshes every minute, but it only works if some of the desktop is always visible. Also, sometimes it goes dark even while I am typing on a window on the TV when it never dimmed first, requiring a remote click. This only happens when using my PC, not my Xbox or with the built in apps. Hopefully a future firmware update will fix this TV to be a better PC monitor.

Fantastic TV...with some minor issues

I've had this new TV setup for about three weeks now and absolutely love it! The quality of the picture is just so stunning. My only issue is the Smartcast UI being a bit laggy and missing some apps like HBO Max, ESPN+, and even Google TV, which is funny considering their relationship with Google Chromecast. There's also been two instances where I turned on my TV and the screen remained blank despite the power light being on. It only happened twice, but definitely a SMH moment.

Great TV if everything worked well.

Bought this TV for 4k 120 with VRR for my Xbox Series X. But the TV won't turn on anymore unless I unplug and replug it in each day. VRR on the TV does not work either and tears up badly. The support seems to be extremely helpful but it hasn't been fixed yet. Will update based on support and how things go. As of now, the issues are frustrating.

Great picture

I've always liked Visio. My first 50” had one backlight diode burn out after 7yrs heavy use. Replaced with 50” nano Visio. I was happy with the upgrade. Figured I could get a 55” within the space constraint I had. Got this one as open box. And WOW! The picture POPS of vibrancy and consistent brightness.
