Set of 4 Defender 2's was purchased 8/1/2024 and I'm well pleased with the smooth and quieter ride.

Great tire...just wished the rubber would be a bit softer for lower highway noise.

I am very disappointed with the Michelin Defender 2.  The 4 tires are rated for 80,000 miles.  However, I am experiencing uneven wear (feathering) on al 4 tires at 12,000 miles.  I have documentation to prove I have been aligning my tires at Firestone since the tires were purchased new.  The shocks and struts are new on my vehicle.  However, I am experiencing noisy tires, and the roads feel bumpy all the time.

Poor Reliability

Grandson had a flat tire that damaged the rim also, I able to take the new rim & have a tire installed on it. It took far less time to install the new tire on the rim than it did to find a replacement rim.
