When I opened the lid of the jar, the inside of the cream was milky white, the cream was a bit dense compared to other creams I had used and I thought it would be heavy weight after applying it but not surprisingly it was. dry and smooth, not sticky on the face. I noticed right away that the packaging is in line with other Olay moisturizers, but this jar being white I thought it looked a little plain and was wondering if the product was going to be "boring" or just so/so. Upon opening the jar, I noticed the product looked like a thick cream and had no scent which I appreciated. The cream is definitely thick, smooth, and feels nourishing. It felt very rich when being applied and settled in well, not too oily. I will definitely use this during the winter months, but for me personally, I think it would be too heavy for the summer. I am always hesitant when I read reviews from people who receive the products for free. So I always try and be as honest as I can be with my reviews of these products. I have received a few products from Olay in the past and they have always been top notch! And this moisturizer is no different! It's made for those with sensitive skin but can basically be used by anyone who wants and needs a great moisturizer! It is fragrance free, dye free and paraben free. It is wonderful at providing long lasting hydration with ingredients like Vitamin B3 and Shea Butter. And it also provides itch relief to soothe symptoms from rashes, eczema and poison ivy or oak! So again, it is great for those with normal skin AND those with sensitive skin! For example, not only did I love this moisturizer on my normal skin, but I gave it to my husband to try on his facial skin after her is finished shaving. And he loves it! He always seems to be left with very dry, itchy skin after he is finished shaving and always asks me for some kind of product he could use to relieve this. And this Olay moisturizer worked wonders! He uses it all the time now. Even when he hasn't shaved. Since it is fragrance-free, he doesn't mind using this product and doesn't have to worry about smelling like flowers (his comment!lol) All you need to do is wash your face and then apply the moisturizer to your skin! It's as easy as that! I even used this moisturizer on my young 4 year old son when he had a rash from a detergent I had used once. He was scratching at his skin and this moisturizer relieved that quickly. And he didn't mind it on his skin either. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with any Olay products. To Start off Olay's moisturizer has a buttery consistency that melts into your skin with just a few swipes. It's enriched with .5 percent colloidal oatmeal and Shea butter that definitely delivers instant hydration and relief to dry skin patches on my face. The formula is long-lasting and I find I don't have to reapply until the end of the day. I love that it's very nourishing and that it provides lasting hydration and that it's free of most irritants and it's easy to layer under spf leaves no white cast and that it blends easily into the skin and it feels lightweight.
